I wouldn't be surprised if McCline gives Arreola a hard time in the beginning but if Arreola comes into the fight in Shape he'll win probably by a TKO.

Why, because he took a knee in a fight with a puncher then came back to KO him?

Arreola is more of a complete fighter with power.

McCline has looked both good and bad in the same fight. He was doing incredible against Peter, I thought for sure he had the fight in the bag, then he tired out by the 7th and Peter ended up winning.

I can see his awkwardness and fairly good boxing-punching skills give Arreola a tough fight in the opening rounds, but I still think Arreola takes it.

Despite his weight, Arreola is a good fighter, accurate and a powerful puncher. He may not be much of a boxer, but he keeps a cool head in fights, and he is boxing intelligent, looking for openings and timing his punches.
Despite his seeming crudity, if you watch his fights he is actually very accurate with his shots and places himself well, putting himself in the right position to throw and tee off on his opponent, and he has great killer instinct.

I think a TKO would be possible for Chris, or a a solid UD

great description of chris. he sometimes leanings in and seems to do a lot of those "bow n arrow" type punches. jermaine taylor is well known as someone who does that with his right hand. but chris sometimes throws both hands in combination like this, and that gives the impression he has zero skill. also it seems he has no power when he does those weird looking punches. BUT if he sees and opening he focuses his shots quickly and puts a lot of heat on them.

also if he actualyl got into great shape he would be really dangerous. as it is i haven't really see him gas with all that extra blubber. but against better opposition now, he will have to shed the excess to be able to survive tough rounds and the late rounds against the elite.

This might be a really good fight and I would not be surprised to see an upset either.

Arreola is more skilled than Peter in my opinion, with better stamina also. And I think he hits just as hard. The extra weight is a hinderance, but its true that I never have seen him tired in any of his fights.

He is slow on his feet, but McCline isnt nimble footed himself.

It should be an interesting fight. McCline has his own sort of of awkward punch and box style, but nothing that I have seen gives Chris problems.

Its going to come down to who lands the bigger shots and has the higher activity.

    Im going with Arreola

EXACTLY. He's such a underachiever, its sad, with his shape...:yikes...he could be dangerous. But even if his mind and work rate hold on, his body fall apart. Do you guys remember the fight vs Valuev, the heaviest combined weight for a title belt in boxing history, he was doing well before suffering a twisted knee.

Have you actually seen Peter? Peter looked was slow and plodding against both Maskaev and Vitali, and he won a razor decision against McCline after McCline gassed in the mid rounds.

Peter hasnt impressed since his 2nd fight with Toney.

Arreola has done a good job handily beating everyone that has been put in front of him. His competition has been C-level, but he not been taken to that wall and has knocked out everyone in sound fashion.

Arreola has both a reach advantage and height advantage agaisnt Peter, and is a more intellligent boxer, even if he doesnt box. He knows what he needs to do to win a fight, and his punching is very accurate even if it is wide.

Peter still throws looping shots and comes straight forward. He also has concrete shoes for footwork

Arreola would either win a 10 round decision or stop him late.

Peter was mentally broken versus Vitali anyways, I dont ever expect him to be the same.

Jameel sometimes doesn't realise what he is capable of.... He is a big strong man with ability.. The hardest night i sat ringside for was when he faced Ced Boswell at Mandalay Bay , he was beginning to allow rounds to slip away, and made Cedric look in the driving seat purely because he was his brain had decided Boswell was a more equipped fighter.. I was with Cory Spinks and Corrales, who were both staggered at how the stronger , more apt guy (Jameel) was letting the slower and smaller Detroiter take control.. I remember Cory screaming out "You are the Bigger dude , act like it Brother.." Jimmy Glenn gave McCline a roasting between rounds, and it woke McCline up from almost a trance like state.. in the very next round Jameel almost manhandled Boswell and demolished him for a KO win.. and it so easily could have turned into a pts loss because it was headding that way... If Arreola gets a foothold, look for Jameel to start the sleep walking business again, it always seems to need Jimmy to start ranting at him to get him started... This is the man who once swept Mike Grant off his feet with the 1st shot he landed in the fight.... He is gonna need to be fired up or he may just (like someone said) find a way to let it slip by... Arreola is never gonna win this, it will all be about Jameel losing it.... I hope i am wrong........

A McCline-Golota fight would be a draw. McCline should win a UD in route to dropping Arreola and erasing HbO's latest hypejob.
