I believe Vitali will win, I don't see the upset happening. But I actually win 50 euro's if Arreola wins, so I'm rooting for the Mexican.
"Developing" Arreola would not work. It's obvious he does not like to train. It's obvious he does not care about learning things like oh...defense! "Developing" Arreola would just lead to him getting knocked out by some lesser level fighter. Getting stopped by a guy like Chagaev or Thompson or Whoever would mean that he'd never get a title shot. Cashing out on this dud is a smart move by his management. After he loses to Klitschko, they will put him in with some bums, then claim he is "really ready this time" (like Toney does) and maybe...just maybe get him a shot at another belt or a televised a fight with a contender.
Im so sick of hearing this glass jaw bull****. "Oh, Arreola was wobbled a bit by McCline..he must have a glass jaw" Yea, and Peter (who ate every right hand Wlad hit him with) was dropped 3 times by jameel, Brock was dropped and Briggs was dropped. Arreola took his shots well and never went down...dosent that say somthing?
yeah this glass jaw is too much Zakm Vitali KOs everyone he beat except hoffman predicting a KO for vitali is a no brainer
Then why'd ya click on the thread? No one's forcing you to come in here and talk glass jaws! Anyway, at this point, it's not 100 percent clear Arreola has one. Right now, it's suspect. After Saturday, it's crystalline quality may be more widely known!:hey
If Vitali KO's him it does not prove his chin is weak at all. It would only mean that Chris Arreola is not an oak tree.
Who said I was directing that comment at you or your thread? I was annoyed at hearing about McCline wobble him......So ****ing what? Many top Heavy's have been dropped by mcCline, Arreola wasn't, his chin cant be that bad.
Sorry man. I'm a little sensitive. Some of these clowns think that it's a sin to point out that a guy has a suspect chin! But I would actually dispute that McCline is a particularly hard hitter. His KO percentage is under 50 percent, he tends to push his punches. You don't hear his opponents talking about his concussive power. Who else has McCline dropped besides Peter, whose chin was likely overrated? Byrd, a blown up supermiddle? He fought Wlad whose not known for his punch resistance, but wasn't able to put him on the canvas. Besides, it's not like it was the only time he Arreola was rocked - he was sent to the canvas by mediocre journeyman Travis Walker. The evidence is not conclusive, yet - but Arreola's chin does not look particularly solid, based on these incidents.
well his chin was pretty sturdy especially since he was hit numerous times right on the button. so to say its glass i say no, to say suspect i still say no. toney was down from a peter jab and to say he has a glass jaw would be blasphemy. so arreola's jaw is pyrex and not cast iron. still a tough SOB.
They know nothing about boxing. Anyone can make a bold prediction and profess their genius when it comes right once out of 400 times. Thats what these guys do...and the times they are wrong, they cover it by saying "he still has a glass chin, wait until he's faces an even bigger puncher! Another immensely hard hitting 250lb man!". They are all jokes.
