Folks, After seeing the tape tonight, I must conclude that Arreola KO'd a passive and outta shape Jameel "In Decline" McCline......... Both guys appeared to be slobs..... However, Arreola's youth pulled him through...... you know, age to 28 compared to age 38 is HUGE in boxing / sports.....:yep If Chris Arreola is the best of the new breed on the heavyweight block, then we are in serious trouble.... Arreola is a slob at 255 pounds...... I'll let Arreola slide a little bit, because, he is naturally porky to begin with.... But, is 240 pounds asking too much.?.? :huh:huh Bottom line: The "K" bros. will harpoon Arreola's ass inside of "5" rds...:bbbthumbsup:yikes Nick Valubum is a bum.... Arreola might be able to beat that joker..?.?:huh:good:rasta SR.BILLARDO:tong
Yeah. If Arreola is the next big thing in the division, then the heavys are not getting any better. McCline was just there to pick up a check.
It was a sad fight. These guys aren't in good enough shape to look good in a Toughman contest. Sorry, McCline was not interested in "winning", therefore it was not a real fight. One guy comes to win, one guy just shows up -- what do you think is going to happen? Arreola vs. Dimitrenko -- Let's see Chris fight against a young, decent big man. (Dimitrenko is like a "Vitali-Lite").
At the very least Arreola at least white washed him. McCline showed up to collect and Arreola beat him down handily, you can give him that. I agree though, if Arreola is to be considered the best American HW, it just is indicative as to how **** poor the American HW division is. And it should be obvious to anyone with sense that Arreola would badly lose to both Klitschko brothers.
You can argue that Khan's victory over Barrera was a "hollow win" too cause of the gash. Thing is, Arreola took care of business quickly as did Khan. Even if Arreola physically looked like ****, he did the job.
if mccline trained for the fight, he can at least go 4 rounds, if he got stopped past the 8th then maybe we could blame his layoff or lack of training, but a vet heavyweight with some training can go 4 rounds in his sleep
It's just sad Arreola came in at Kirk Johnson-like weight. Maybe Arreola can't beat the Klitschkos, but an in shape Arreola would be fun to watch.
**** Merchant and all the other "OMG we need an exciting American heavyweight" zombies, and **** Arreola. I hope he and Chambers and Wilder and every other US prospect are brutally KTFO in the next couple of years just to shut you fools up, and we get a decade of junior Maskaevs and Ibragimovs hoarding the belts. Whiny bitches.
Might as well. Would be entertaining at least. Fat black dude versus fat mexican. I think Arreola would likely bludgeon Chambers into a late round TKO, but who knows. He would probably get embarrassed by Chambers handspeed and footwork the first few rounds.
Agreed. At the very least we could tell ourselves "this guy might not have elite skills, but he is definitely serious about wanting to be Champ" As of right now, he doesnt look like he is truly driven to be a champion. He just seems to content to show up and rely on his power and punch output to knock guys out. Weighing 240 would do wonder for his footwork too, which is right now pretty much non existent. He has been well matched in fighting guys with come forward styles. Someone like Chambers would drive him crazy, just because he has never fought anyone he has had to go after
Funny how you picked McCline to win the fight Mr. Bill. I think you may be proved wrong again soon. And by chance are you a fat **** yourself? I'd bet that you are!!
Chambers is a better boxer than Arreola, but Arreola has the power to KO a mule........ I'd like to see "Arreola-Chambers"-----On ESPN; not HBO!! Cheers..... SR.BILL
