Chad Dawson is pretty cool, alway's happy to talk and have pictures.

Amir Khan was an absolute wanker when i met him, though this was the beginning of his career before the Prescott loss.

Floyd Mayweather Snr is actually really ****ing cool, considering his on-screen actions.

Hatton was a bit mixed, he was alright to have a picture taken, but you could tell he didn't wanna' chat.

Carl Froch is cool too, i was talking to him for about 25 minutes at one point

Tito was such a nice guy it would of been hard for anybody coming up after him. People can be very judgemental over there too, its a different culture. I personally like the way he handles himself, he has earned every thing he has out of sweat and sacrifice. I wouldnt want to be who anybody else wants me to be either.

There was an old quote from Cottoe where he spoke about how he knows they don't like him out in PR.

I know this is supposed to be about arrogant fighters, but I ran into Clinton Woods just before they announced the Tarver fight, he was with his girlfriend and his kid, I was with my wife and kid, he was as nice as can be, gave my son a t shirt and chatted about all sorts, got the sense he was holding nothing back and just liked the fact that my wife and I knew who he was and knew a bit about his career. He was so chatty that we had to break off the conversation as we had things to do lol.

    Arrogant athletes, no way!

Nah seriously, I read an article from a writer (I think Jeff Ryan) who talked about how boxers are much more friendly with fans/reporters than other athletes he's interviewed.

As obnoxious as he can be, Mayweather has a rep of being good with fans. My friend was at a fight in Vegas, and Floyd and his crew were in attendance. Floyd was gracious and took pics with the fans. Floyd is supposed to be alcohol and drug free, but my friend told me seemed stoned out of his mind.

A relative of mine works in the commission and has met many fighters. Most of the fighters he's met have been friendly, or at least somewhat engaging. Duran, Barrera, Foreman, Norris, Arguello, McClellan, Espinosa, etc...He said the only boxer he came across that was an absolute arrogant jerk was Lennox Lewis, and that Tommy Morrison, Riddick Bowe and Michael Nunn were also kind of difficult, but nowhere near Lennox's level of being an *******.

I met Lennox Lewis before the Hatton v Malignaggi fight in the MGM Grand.

He was walking around by himself, no security no nothing. Was around 8am in the morning as i'd went to get breakfast and Lennox was as nice as could be. Got pic's with him, he signed a couple of thing's and was cool.

If you were Lennox Lewis would you feel the need to keep security around?

Boxers always are struggling for attention, so it's smart for them to be approachable. As much as I dislike Mayweather's personal, I'll say that in person he seems very affable with fans. If only he'd act more humble like that when the cameras are on.

I've heard Hopkins is a ***** but never have seen him in person. Rahman and Grant were hanging out at the Mandalay after Khan/Judah and were as nice as they could be. Same with the HBO crew, as I've seen Steward hanging out at the MGM center bar after fights having drinks and chilling with fans.

I didn't like the vibe I got from Vargas at a Vegas club one time, but maybe he was just ****ed up or focusing on getting *****. No big deal.

Amir khan was perfectly friendly when I met him in his dressing room before his first round blow out of Medjadji. He obviously wasn't the sharpest guy but nice nonetheless. Frank Bruno didn't really know what was going on when I met him lol, and Ricky Hatton was pretty cold to be honest, really couldn't be bothered to give autographs at all. Ironic really when his biggest selling point was his apparently 'nice guy have a pint with you' persona.

Just because someone does not want to sign autographs or talk to random people it does not mean they are dicks. He is probably tired and wants to relax and ****.
