I haven't seen much of Vitu at all. However, I've always liked and rated Soro.

Speaking of hard punching French LMWs

I always liked this one too

Slick Frenchman. Beast at Euro level only really ever outclasssed by Castano.

    Nice going, Chuckie! :ibutt

I remembered about this card belatedly and my afternoon has become a chaotic shambles, long story made short I'm stuck in a supermarket using their very choppy WiFi and seated at the hi-top in the wine tasting section on my laptop; I think MTK Global's card is as much as I can handle. :sisi1 Glad somebody's on this.

Lol... Watts doing OK trying to jab off the back foot and get underneath with the uppercut but Goulamirian's hooks are making his knees buckle even when they don't land flush. KO3-4 probably.

R3: Watts took a beating and fought back, started countering Goulamirian's hooks with overhand rights. Maybe this will be a fight after all.

R4: Nah. Vicious liver shot KO.

Goulamarian's a ****ing tank, I want to see him rumble with Briedis... similar stature and power.

That sounded extremely painful. Great punch placement from Feroz. He wins by KO4 by a body shot

I'm not surprised to hear that Soro ate Vitu alive, but I am surprised that it was quite that dominant and that he got such an early stoppage. I was doubting myself a smidgen when @CST80 warned that it would be close, but... my gut feeling was that Soro has always just been a clear few grades above. Vitu is more of a gutsy overachiever, capable of giving some top guys a hard night here and there, but in terms of both class and styles Abou was all wrong for him.

Looking forward to seeing the fight, hopefully it pops up on YT soon.

Total mismatch. Goulamirian hurt Watts with many shots. Every time he threw combos he got through a lot and staggered him. Told to up the pace, stop being lazy and to get Watts out of there by Abel Sanchez ahead of the fourth round. He followed suit. KO4 Goulamirian.

Nice body shot to finish it. Watts wasn't up to much but if nothing else he looked physically strong and his right hand sounded pretty heavy when he let it go. Goulamirian needs to keep busy now and build up some momentum after not having fought in 13 months. A fight with him and Makubu would be interesting albeit the former isn't ranked in the top 15 by the WBA. Maybe he'll fight Egorov who according to the WBA appears to hold some portion of their title but I'm not quite sure what it is. That would be a quality match up too.

Makabu is fighting for the vacant WBC belt for certain, he's always been ordered to face Glowacki.

Yeah I actually remember hearing that now that you mention it, but the whole business with the Briedis and Glowacki ruling the other week threw me off.

Soro's a beast. He just wiped down a kid from up my way. He's star-type material.

Hopefully Glowacki accepts the WBC title shot instead and the WBSS issue will be resolved too.

Yeah I 'm looking forward to the WBSS final between Briedis and Dorticos and the former is only going to stop Glowacki in a rematch again now that he's recovered from his hand injury and back to his best.

Yeah Briedis was going to win that fight no matter what. Glowacki is good but not as good. I think he loses to Makabu too. He's really stuck between a rock and a hard place in terms of opportunities. I bet he's chasing the Briedis fight because it yields more cash but I reckon Ilunga could perhaps fight in his backyard and wipe him out. If your chin is not up to the task you're getting smoked by him.

Yeah I can't see him beating a healthy Briedis. I think he would've likely beaten the injured one who fought Gevor because that was just a shell of Briedis.

Glowacki would probably be the best opponent Makabu has fought or very close if not and that one is much more even IMO. However, Makabu would have to start as favourite over the post-Briedis Glowacki and he has the power to get him out of there for sure.
