Man this is a good fight, hope it happens.
You seen any of Goulamirian? He looks a real tough, solid operator. Will take some stopping. His fight with Merhy was a good, entertaining fight.

Have it in Armenia. That would be cool. Go Goulamirian.

Goulamirian is probably the best cruiserweight in the world right now, but he never fights. Hopefully it doesn’t take 2 years to materialize like his fight against Egorov.

if it goes ahead it will be his 3rd fight in 4 years.

he better be careful and watch he doesn't burn himself out.

If Goulamirian wants the fight in his backyard which it appears he does then Riakporhe and Shalom need to agree that Riakporhe should have to travel over there. Same thing happened with CBS and Opetaia. CBS wanted the fight over here too.

It's insane how inactive he has been. He was 30 when he won the title but he turns 36 in a couple of months and has only fought four times in all that time and two of those four fights were fought in the space of two months. He's fought once since the end of 2019. What a waste of his prime years

He should knock Riakporhe out but age and inactivity are working against him. Hopefully he can mount a late charge during his twilight years and secure the unification match ups against the other champs.

I don't think Riakporhe had a fight between 2019 and 2021 because apparently he failed a drugs test and they tried to keep it quiet. There is a delay for the Goulamirian fight as Tommy McCarthy was signed to fight Goulamirian in France on August 26 so there's a legal dispute there.

I heard whispers about that failed drug test but I have no idea if there's any substance to it

OK. I'd heard Goulamirian has been embroiled in a long-term dispute with his promoter. Hence the inactivity.

Very good matchup, about time Arsen takes on a legit opponent.

Dont think they can generate the money to make it in Armenia.
