For me, with Wilder, it's simple. Until a fighter proves he can take Wilder's power, I'll doubt it. Wilder by KO
What if Wilder can't hurt him or gets hurt first? Arslanbek doesn't mess around or wait for opportunities to take his opponents out, and he's a much harder puncher than Fury and seemingly much more intent on destroying his opponents quickly, be it in close quarters or at a distance.
Well, if Wilder can't hurt him then everything is different, of course. Would be an interesting fight.
Wilder has to be the clear favourite, he's far more proven, but I wouldn't right Makmudov off, he's very aggressive, would put Wilder on the back foot from the opening bell and we know Wilder struggles to set to load up the right hand when he's pushed back. Makhmudov has to get him out early if he doesn't he'll give Wilder and opportunity to set and throw the right hand and Wilder only needs a moment to end the fight.
The Mak Man would brutally KTFO the walking beanpole with vicious uppercuts from the centre of the ring and equally brutal OH rights after he gets Wilder pinned against the ropes. People talking about Makhmudov taking Wilder's power. What about Wilder taking Makhmudov's power? There's way less debate about the answer to that one.
A reminder that the Mak Man had the teak tough Takam down within twenty seconds of the opening round of their fight and KOed the unknockoutable Mariusz Wach. The only other fighter who came close to doing that was the brutalist punching Martin Bakole. He's the Beterbiev of the HW division and right now Wilder is the Adonis Stevenson.
Wilder would not take this fight And you all know mak would take the 30 % Wilder is hesitant on fighting that little fat kid off of up
Makhmudov chins Wilder and Fury with relative ease and people will wonder why those guys were getting $30m+ per fight. The Saudis might feel pretty stupid in 12 to 18 months time when they realise how much money they spunked on fighters who are easy to KO.
