Arslanbek Makhmudov vs. Guido Vianello set for August 17

Makhmudov has picked up BAD habits in that small ring he spars in up there in Montreal.

At this stage with muscle memory, lack of quality sparring, language barrier etc he is going to struggle to make inroads

He is "unteachable" as it stands unless his environment changes

 

He showed some brief improvements against Rice, but quickly regressed back to his old headhunting ways. It's probably too late for him now to develop into a top fighter, but he's got few more years of fun fights left potentially.

 

I would like to see him against Tyson Fury. It would be fun while it lasts and would give us an opportunity to see how far gone Fury's punch resistance is
