Is Teper really 6'5? He looked much shorter than AM in the weigh in

Poulin looks terrible, telegraphes all his shots and just plods forward with his hands down

They're interviewing 36 year old women's featherweight prospect Martine Vallières-Bisson at ringside to kill time until the next bout. She was a 50-50 amateur who never really graduated to global tourneys, but she did win the national championship in 2018. She's now 4-0 in the pros, having shut out former world titlist Lindsay Garbatt in a 6-rounder on tonight's undercard.

I can't understand a word they're saying. :nusenuse: (je ne parle pas français)

Memorial ten bell salute for Jeanette Zacarías Zapata, the 18 year old Mexican woman that died in Montreal last month from brain injuries sustained in the boxing ring.

    Round 1

Santana-Salcedo exhaling with a grunt and hiss through his teeth when firing off jabs and body combos, a leftover habit from the amateurs he is unlikely to shed having campaigned there for so long (from 2012 until 2020, including one AIBA worlds appearance). Leblond, obviously just here to give rounds and lose graciously, is parrying a bit with his left and jogging backward to reset after getting hit more than once, and every now and then showing a teardrop right hand, telegraphed and not thrown with spite.

    10-9 Santana-Salcedo

    Round 2

Santana-Salcedo is flurrying off the jab, mixing up to head and body, walking Leblond down with minimal resistance. Santana-Salcedo begins to pick things up a bit, drilling straight through with repeated 1-2s, causing Leblond to crouch and spring in to hold. A few weak lamplighter counters by Leblond posting up in front of Santana-Salcedo, window dressing meant to provide a diversion until the next clinch, but Santana-Salcedo threads in a flush uppercut between his forearms banging the bottom of his chin & stunning Leblond, and then ices him with a left hook on the liver. Down he goes, and he's no longer in any shape to go, clutching his insides.

    KO2!!
