January twenty-second in Montreal. No word yet on whether Makhmudov's pair of North American titles (NABF and NABA) will be on the line. His perfect 100% kayo streak will be, however. Wach has gone 10-7 in the last decade, and just 3-5 since late 2017 when Makhmudov debuted. His lone meaningful success in that span was capturing the vacant Republic of Poland international HW title in June of last year with a UD over Kevin "The Kingpin" Johnson (yeah, I'm not sure why Kingpin was eligible to even vie for it, either... ). He, if nothing else, is a lotta man, with a thick neck big wide square jaw, and his stoppages have all come in the later rounds, against big punchers. To get rid of even a 40-somethings version of Wach early would be quite a statement for the Russian-Canadian to make.
Miller isn't really a big puncher and Wach is 42 now, plus more shopworn than ever. Makhmudov will likely stop him, the question is when and how.
Bro that's not even funny. It's still a very painful topic for Polish people. Makmudov is from Azerbaijan. The whole Russia thing is just a quick way to turning professional.
