Award given to "Hollywood" Dirrell by Hollywood for his performance. Best actor award.

    Yes. Twice...

I gave Abraham 3 rounds, plus one questionable. 4 tops. That isn't unreasonable at all.

Dirrell was in no way controlling the 11th round. Besides, Abraham's opponents ALWAYS control the first minute or so of each round.

The KD in the 7th is EXACTLY what I described. Dirrell cuffed Abraham with his wrist upside the head and basically pulled him off balance. It wasn't a punch, though it was meant to be one.

I'm not defending what he did, I'm just saying that there have been plenty of fighters who did it with little or no repercussions. He was obviously out of line, but it doesn't make him some sort of classless monster like people are making him out to be.

If Abraham had scored a knockdown in the 11th and 2 knockdowns in the 12th, it would have been 112-112 on two scorecards resulting in a majority draw. And that's without counting the knockdown in the 10th, which was a clear knockdown based on the replays. I'm not saying Abraham would have scored 3 knockdowns in the final two rounds, but he's definitely had rallies like that in the past...so it's far from impossible. It's Abraham we're talking about...coming on hard in the last rounds is WHAT HE DOES.

Either way, the result is what it should have been. Dirrell might be a *****, but I doubt he's that good at acting..."I can't breathe, man!"

I just want to point out that this was the second time that a ringside doctor was allowed to work on Arthur Abraham illegally. Somebody please tell me why the **** the doc was acting like he thought he was Miguel Diaz or some ****:think

:huh You can't be serious :bart No one aside from AA's fans could've seen it that way. The 3 real judges, 3 press row judges, or Al Bernstein all had Dirrell handily ahead. Funny how while there is significant chatter about AA's not scored KD, there's little about Abraham being saved from ROW 3 or 4 by the ropes, not being called a KD. Just a thought...:bbb

Knockout makes up for a shortage of points. Dirrell got the chance to cheat and he did. However, he has been exposed and will pay for it.

AA had his chance. He screwed the pooch. He doesn't deserve another chance. Period. End of.

Okay, it's alright to tell us because it's very obvious. Exactly how much did you LOSE? It had to be significant, because you're really pissed and your anger has blinded you to the truth. In the future, don't bet what you can't afford to lose, and don't let this type of BS get you. It'll kill you. Have a nice day!:good

Abraham cheated himself out of a legit knockout.

Froch sure did beat the crap out of Dirrell! Dirrell was like a scared rabbit!

I already clarified this a couple posts up. My card was the same: 97-92. 7 rounds Dirrell, 3 rounds Abraham.

I was saying that it's conceivable that Abraham took one other round, and if you also count his KD in the 10th, the score would be 95-93: 6 rounds Dirrell, 4 rounds Abraham. And then, given the momentum of the fight, we can assume Abraham was going to take rounds 11 and 12. 113-113, and that's IF Abraham somehow didn't knock Dirrell down or out in those rounds, which he had a very good chance of doing.

I was saying that the fight was not as one-sided as it seemed, and also that the official scores don't reflect what was really going on in the ring. People are making it like Abraham didn't do **** until the 10th round and that Dirrell was having his way with him in there. I'll freely admit that I'm not a fan of Dirrell, but I was impressed with his performance because he showed that he can fight for 10 rounds without running scared. He also went for the KO in round 4 if you noticed, which I was REALLY impressed with.

Also, that incident in the 7th was not a knockdown, and having established this fact, I'm SHOCKED that Cole didn't count it as one, given his predilection for being wrong all the time.

Furthermore, Abraham complained too much about supposed low blows. Funny thing is that most of them actually were low blows: Abraham wears his shorts below his belly button. Every shot that touches his beltline is therefore low; it's the same as a punch touching BELOW the beltine of other fighters, since they wear their shorts a good 4-6 inches higher. The problem here? Abraham is a ****** for wearing his shorts so damn low. Why would you do that if your style requires you to hold both hands on your forehead the entire time?? Wouldn't you want your midsection a bit more protected? I just don't understand the guy sometimes...

I would like to see you define exposed LOL. I'll go ahead and break it down for you. Versitile fighters don't get exposed. They do the exposing of the less talented LOL. I don't see how you feel he was exposed. He was getting a little lax on his discipline late but he wasn't exposed. People want abraham to be more aggressive early but he couldn't deal with a fresh dirrell and if they fight again it will play out the same way. Abraham was scared to swing and discouraged from being countered so nicely with shots that definately got his respect from the first round. He knew dirrell had pop. He had to wait for dirrell to slow down a little bit.

AA and his sorry ass team were exposed. AA and them dummies came to fight a running Dirrell and got a dirrell that had little respect for the boxing skills of a limited abraham from the start. Stood infront of AA at punching distance and showed him some all around god given talent that he has never seen in all his years of boxing. His idiot team thought dirrell was at his peak and not getting better and learning. If they listened to all the shaw talk after the froch fight about how he should have engaged froch more, they should have known he was gonna be aggressive with abraham. He is limited like froch. Dirrell also Went to AA's body like nothing AA had seen before either LOL.

I can't wait to hear your reasoning on dirrell being exposed LOL. Can't even say he was fading because he had his head together the whole time and was countering. Can't say nothing because it's just false saying dirrell got exposed. Abraham got exposed to everyone who didn't already know what a limited one demensional fighter was.

I hear you, and I appreciate the tone of you response. AA's defense actually redirects perfectly good punches downward (no one's fault but his). Everything else, I agree with except the KD that wasn't called. The rules of boxing clearly state that if the ropes keep you from going down, it's a KD...:bbb
