With some posters faking Arthur Abraham quotes, here are Abraham's words straight from the statement:

On Dirrell visiting the hospital after the fight: "I wish him all the best and hope he is fine."

On the incident "I thought I could still punch because the referee did not stop us. In the heat of the moment I was not watching his feet but only his head. As a professional boxer, you always try and make pressure."

On the fight: "I am a slow starter. That is how I fight. But I picked up in the later rounds and connected." referring to the knockdown in the 10th round that wasn't credited by referee Lawrence Cole.

Forget his team... Abraham is still the same respectful guy!

Please what? You say Abraham is disrespectful because some idiot faked some quotes for him, but his real statement doesn't mean anything? Please...

I'm glad Abraham came back with a cooler head. That was ****ed up when he said right after the fight that Dirrell was not a good boxer but rather a good actor.

No, I say that because I heard him speak yesterday after the fight.

Theres an old saying that goes " you can't put words into peoples mouths" i watched the fight on showtime and when asked after the fight Abraham replied "he's a good boxer,no,hes a good actor"
The man has been on an ice pedestal for the last few years, trouble is its melting.
No class in or out of the ring as far as i'm concerned after the **** he came out with last night.
Lets hope Dirrell recovers fully and doesn'tsuffer any lasting damage as a result of AA's dirty and desperate tactics.

Any you judge a fighter's class based on a single, highly emotional and frustrated interview rather than on all his previous and following, clear-headed statements?

good statement by Arthur. He was out of line after the fight but its expected the emotions were running high and the whole atmosphere was chaotic.

Exactly. He came off as real classless. I am sure he was upset with the way the fight ended, but you gotta watch what you say in the heat of the moment. I am glad he reconsidered when he cooled down and did the right thing. As a human being, I'm willing to accept that he was worked up and said some things that he wish he hadn't because he was disappointed with the way things turned out.

i have no respect for AA

he hit a man when he was down, what excuse for that is there?

he tried to cheat about getting points docked for phantom low blows, but failed.

he got outboxed, badly, which is why he resorted to all his bollocks "actor" quotes

he knew he had been uncovered, i hate the ****ing clown now, i want him to get his head knocked off, arrive in another post code

and i will start a thread calling him an actor.. lets see how all you ****ing simpleton, joey ****ing AA ****s react then

your man is a **** of the highest order, you are aswell for backing him.

    now **** off.

Do you seriously think Jones, Pacquiao and Abraham purposefully hit Griffin, Marquez and Dirrell on the canvas???

Look who's out of reality today!

I expected as much after he had a chance to cool down. The right move here by Abraham.
