Not if you know anything about boxing.

The style advantage goes to Dirrel. He could pot shot out a victory.

Power goes to Abraham. No matter how well Dirrel does, Arthur could smash him and end the fight.

I agree with this, but honestly man, did Buster Douglas present a stylistic mismatch to Tyson?

You just never know until they get in there, maybe Dirrell will bring something out of Abraham we haven't seen yet.

If, like most casual fans, you don't take into account what happens outside of the ring. Buster Douglas was like the HW Zab Judah. He was KNOWN to be a bad ass that never trained right. You never knew which BD would show up. That night bad ass BD did. From Mike's perspective? I will say... Japanese girls are a hell of a drug. :yep

I agree, but... What could he bring out? AA has a top notch D with punishing counters. He isn't going to chase Dirrel down. If Froch's wild ass couldn't. AA is to disciplined for that okiedoke crap.

IMHO the X factor is Dirrel. Will he stand and make AA throw? If so? He is going to get KTFO! :bbb

I also would like to think Abraham may be able to cut Dirrell off a little better than Froch, but I guess we will see.. He could also use his jab which he does while he is shelling and waiting to explode to offset Dirrell a little.. Those are two things I thought Froch didn't do too well that Abraham may be able to do, but I guess we'll see.

But yeah, Dirrell does seem to hold the advantages with his height, movement, and speed.

    How so?

Tell me a fight where Jermain Taylor was behind on the scorecards going into the 8th or 9th round. And Jermain Taylor has the strongest level of opposition in the division.

Arthur is the only guy who has clearly outboxed him.

Dont be surprised to see Dirrell outboxed and flattened, after having seemingly "stole" the first round or two.

On the world scene, is it really a huge accomplishment to outbox boxers the caliber of Miranda; Demers; Gevor; Elcock; Ayala; Marquez; Simon and Oral ?

Jermain had just been knocked out 2 of his previous 3 fights and his confidence level was at it's all time low...

I'm looking forward to be proven wrong here and become a true Abraham fan but I can't stop thinking this is one of the guys surfing on overrated hype...but it doesn't take anything away from his talent, it's just not at the level many perceive him to be as far as I'm concerned...

    We'll see.

But people are vastly underrating Arthurs skills I feel, I mean.. outboxing, outjabbing and outmaneuvering Jermain Taylor, even at this stage, for a guy 5'10, is pretty impressive in my book.

Even if Jermain Taylor may be "shot" (even though hes been leading on the scorecards against all these top opposition after consecutive losses), its still a feat to ponder.

Everyone keeps talking about Arthur digging out the victory after being desperately behind on points, when that has never happened and didnt happen against a legitimate boxer in Jermain Taylor.

AA is 10 times mentally stronger and will win by ko.

    This one is obvious.

Of course Abraham is mentally stronger. 99.999% of menopausal women are mentally stronger than Dirrell....how is Arthur ****in' Abraham not going to be??
