Froch was cheated out of a win against Kessler. Froch scared the Hell out of Dirrell, all Dirrell did was run, hold, complain, fall down on canvas, etc. I knew that if Froch threw punches and all Abraham did was hold his glove up and take punches, well, Froch would win. Froch should have six points.

Ward is a disgrace for refusing to fight in the tournament unless get got all his fights in his home town, with his judges, ref, ring, gloves, etc. Rumors are that Ward also would refuse to fight in tournament if Bute was allowed to fight.

Nah. Not wrong. It's equal parts IMO. The word exposed gets tossed around these parts far too often, but I think it applies in this case. We all knew that AA was like a football team(American). When he's on defense, he cannot play offense. Froch exposed AA as a guy who will keep the shell up as long as someone is putting punches on him. Froch had enough power to do it.

PS- Take back what you said about Santa.

    lol i agree

both were actors, for pete's sake. But AA's illegal hit was out of frustration AND a bail out for a first clean win against him. Unfortunately, Dirrell obliged him.... AA's a real sore loser and Dirrell showed he's got plenty of chynks in his armor if you decide to be an intelligent fighter.

Froch happens to be a rather intelligent boxer-puncher

    Great analogy.

Santa exists. I was merely being humorous.

Not for my sake. The same frustration when we saw AA throw an elbow at Froch?

Really, I actually think I'd do it for a 1000 dollars. I mean we all know the foil. I'll be pasting him with combinations and he'll just go turtle on me for 12 rounds.

Have to agree and think this. A lot of people are saying AA never beat a legitimately great SMW (Taylor was just a blown up MW). Obviously, this may be true but if there is something we learned it's that skills are far more important than weight. AA, while always seemingly being infuriatingly irritating at least showed some urgency and explosion out of that shell in the past. This is why he was actually a favorite to some before the tournament started.

Yes, Dirrell showed he could be out-boxed but even in that fight he showed some urgency. Maybe Froch went out there and got AA's respect. But AA while always being fairly one-dimensional looked flat and lackluster. Much worse than he did in his fights against Taylor and Dirrell.

    He deserves credit, no doubt.

This would be ideal. I think Bute has the style to trouble Ward. I do think Ward is the best most complete SMW today, though.

You may wish to re-phrase this, or at least the last section.

Should you land the Abraham fight you'd be payed more that the 1000 dollars you're currently being offered. Plus, I think the fight in question was actually on the cobbles so to speak so I doubt there would be judges and rounds etc. Still, I think you have the ability, toughness, and ESB P4P ranking to destroy Abraham in a viscous albeit one sided curb stomping.

You're right. I demand at least 50-50 purse. I also want Froch's girlfriend to be shouting ringside. This is all I request and I guarantee with my skills and her screeching voice that this will be the foil to dominate Abraham with another vicious 12 round victory.

glad i was never an AA fan, i knew how 1-dimensional he was and the gameplan that Dirrell would use to break him down.
Due to styles, i gave this fight to AA for a midround KO, though i like Froch better as a fighter.

Didnt expect Froch would execute Dirrell's gameplan....
He proved he had enough boxing skill and footwork to pull it off. He did a great job using his range and keeping AA out.

AA suffers from stamina problem - thats the secret some knows. He originally moved up from Middleweight and he's really a short SuperMid. That means he's over-muscled, and thats the case. Some fighters who classify themselves as "Slow-starters" are using that to hide the fact that they have stamina issues. Slow starters pick up around 3rd/4th round. AA picks up around 5th round - this is not a subtle hint towards stamina issues.

    Gameplan to beat AA -
steal first 5 rounds by being busier
Shoot on top but finish down below and exhaust his body by 6th
he'll lose power and even more stamina he saved going into 6th
Box intelligent and win a couple more rounds - stay safe
    win majority decision 8-4
yeah, this should be a common knowledge gameplan vs AA by now...
the sad thing is that AA doesnt have the skillz or ability to adjust....

The big factor on the Froch/AA fight....
think Froch's power to the body was very under-estimated. By the time that AA was SUPPOSE to pick up (5-7th rounds), he didnt have the energy to even respond lol! He was completely sapped!

WTf are you whininh about? At least he Fights the best. guy loses so what you ****ing *****?:huh

I am Glad what he did to that Clown dirrel who does NOT belong in to Boxing.

Dirrel would have better career as those cheap movies.

Hey, when you make threads like this why dont you Critizise Dirrel's Mandhood as a boxer? he has mentality of girl which is the most pathetic Boxer can have.

Try to respect AA desire to Fight the best, the will to Fight and win the Fight with Broken Jaw.

He is a warrior and you are fat, grease faced little punk.

AA was awful tonight. You just can't defend him. HE was inactive as ****. :patsch But that's not all, you gotta admit Froch was good ! What a fighter ! Now i hope Froch will win it all since i don't believe AA will change anything in his usual gameplan against Ward.

Yes it was. :patsch After round 7 i was waiting for a TKO but deep inside i knew well it will never happen.
