I agree with you that Taylor has the better hand speed and movement, but I don't think Jermaine is going to be able to hurt Abraham.

Miranda broke his cheek bone in the 4th round of their first fight and Abraham went the rest of the way with what looked like a tennis ball lodged in his cheek, and won the fight. He proceeded to destroy Miranda the second time around.

If Taylor is going to win, he is going to have to be a pure boxer, stay on the outside and throw quick combos. I think if he mixes it up with Abraham, he will get KO'd. I like AA to win, but again, all these Super Six fights are pretty close on paper.

2 ways to beat Abraham: out box him or back him up ... I can see all 5 of his potential opponents doing that. He's definitely the weakest link and the easiest of all 6 fighters to predict. I can see Froch knocking him out ... Taylor out boxing him or knocking him out ... Kessler out boxing him or knocking him out ... Ward will Miranda him ... and Dirrell will flat out - out class him.

Miranda was proven ineffective fighting backwards and his power is a bit overrated when it comes to toe to toe action. In addition to that I don't put much stock in what happened years ago ... That fight was sloppy and ref'd wrong ... Just because Abraham's jaw was broke doesn't mean it was done with concrete power, he could've got caught with his mouth open... I don't think it will take power to stop Abraham, it doesn't take power to stop any professional fight - when you're a professional ... accumulation of punishment will be the reason why the fight gets stopped. I can see Abraham getting knocked down ... I can see Abraham jumping into a straight punch ... and I can see Taylor picking Abraham off from the outside ... it doesn't take much ... a cut ... swelling ... or another broken Jaw. Unlike Miranda, Taylor is world class and was the champion of his division at the time of Abraham's run ...

And Taylor is a pure boxer and whatever the outcome of the fight is Taylor will make it happen by boxing.

JT didn't looked gased after workouts either ... that was fairly light for him ... or any professional - championship level prize fighter ... if he was gased after that then he wouldn't even be prepared for a 3 round amateur bout.

KEEP HATING HATERZ ... come sunday morning ... Abraham will have a loss on his record.

I'm not expert on mitt work, but Abraham seemed to have to think about what he was doing. Taylor almost looked rehearsed. Worst mitt work I have ever seen was some guy in warm ups in a second or third tier MMA DVD. Took the guy a full second to react to the mitt cue. If only he had been that fast in his fight he might not have gotten as busted up as he did.

I watched the Uriah Faber/Mike Brown rematch last night. These are top level guys, and I still have no idea why people try to compare these guys to boxers. Faber and Brown are championship calibre in the WEC, and I swear to God, I could find better fighters in an average biker bar on any given Saturday night!

My son had gotten these DVD's as a set because they were cheap and they filled up his order. I tried helping my son out with the mitts, but I sucked just holding them up. Well, that is about all I did really. It is like anything else. It probably helps to have been on the other side at some point to know what to do. Oh well. At least I knew I sucked at it.

What your ignoring is that JT is not slick enough to keep AA off of him with lateral movement or footwork for 12 rounds. He doesn't have that type of game like PBF or Hopkins.

This fight is probably going to be one of two halves. First half, JT looks great. He's got all the energy in the world and uses it to win maybe 4 of the first 6 rounds.

But come second half, JT isn't as crisp. His energy level is down. He slows down. He's easier to hit. AA starts coming forward. He starts landing. JT gets discouraged and starts doubting himself and starts thinking about his past KO losses. AA eventually gets to him.

Like you, i'm a huge JT fan. But i gotta be objective here. I'll be rooting for JT big time but i'm picking AA.

The only way i see JT winning this fight is if he somehow improved his defense by being able to use some lateral movement and good footwork to side step an aggressive fighter instead of just going straight backwards. That's what did him in against Froch. And i seriously doubt he has added this to his game. When his energy is gone in the second half, he will be easy pickings for the aggressive AA.

I was going to say the JT from the second Pavlik fight would beat AA easily but then again, Kelly hurt his hand early so that made it a different fight also.... damned, can't get myself excited about his chances no matter how hard I try.....
