Abraham has his style it won't change at super middle lads...against Miranda he did exactly same thing for 3 rounds then bombed him outta there.
He's never going to throw many punches guys. You might get a bit more energy out of him at 168, and more importantly the confidence in himself to know he's healthier and can work harder. But really, when you wind up so many power shots you can't afford to throw many and wear yourself out. AA never learnt to throw weaker shots mixed in with power shots.
Good fight. Oral had a decent performance.Had it 86-83 after 9. Abraham doesn't have more than 2 fights at MW left.
I doubt we'll ever get the chance. It has never appeared that Pav (or perhaps his handlers) have wanted any part of Abraham.
The only punch AA does not put 100% into is his jab. Look at his hooks FFS. He lifts himself off the ground throwing them. When he throws his right cross his hip rotates 180 degrees He does work hard, in a different way to most boxers.
Arum want's to maximise the profits from the new 2 year contract. Getting blown out inside 4 rds probablly wouldn't be too great for Pavlik's marketability in the meantime we'll probablly end up with the epic that is pavlik-mora.
