Abraham - Pavlik would be the fight of 2009 if it was made

    Agreed.

This fight, along with Pac - Hatton and Hopkins - Dawson are the 3 I REALLY want to see in 2009.

PWill? He would have to seriously tighten his defence and move a lot more than he usually does.

They better make it happen. I would pay to see that one.

He is feared by Bob Arum, Arum doesn't want Pavlik anywhere near him, he'd rather match Pavlik up with bums like Duddy to keep Americans beliving this lie that hes actually number 1 MW in the world.

I don't know about "most feared" but it does seem like Strum and Pavlik are both happy to avoid him like the plauge right now.
Like somebody above said, Pavlik rarely mentions his name... which is pretty odd, considering they are seen by most fans and experts as a toss-up fight for supremacy at 160.
As far as Strum goes, I think he and his people know they can't beat him, so they'll just duck him as long as possible.
Maybe P-Willie should step up... "Battle of the Most Feared"

The plan has ALWAYS been for Abraham-Pavlik but both fighters suffered setbacks (Abraham got sick and delayed his fight, Pavlik lost to Hopkins) so instead of Jan, it's pushed towards spring-time ish.

Not everybody is ducking somebody. Jesus christ.

You know, I called him the "Berlin Wall" in my report to Abraham - Marquez, regarding to Marquez his statement...

Difference to guys like Margo and P Will is that Abraham don't talk about being that kinda avoided - he's far more respectful and modest, just a class act in promotion.

But it certainly has also to do with AA being promoted by a German and all the others by Americans.

I think you are wrong there. They, that is Sauerland, just stepped up a bit with the last few press releases. If it doesn't come across to you as a PR stunt in the best Paul Williams manner, than you must be even more hard core AA fan than I thought.
