    AA was dq'd, which I think was appropriate. Banning would be an over-reaction. Roy Jones wasn't banned when he did the same thing to Montel Griffin.

    honestly, abraham's style is a more defensive than dirrel's. Is it more manly to be so defensive that you don't even throw punches?

    Banning AA for this would be ubsurd IMO.... he got DQ'd.... he lost his undefeated record because of this, in a fight he was fastly coming on and could have closed the show with a KO within the next two rounds as Andre was crumbling fast....

    If you 'ban' aa from boxing for this.... then every boxer who has ever hit their opponent when they shouldnt have should also be banned from the sport.

    He shouldn't be banned, but the DQ was the correct call. Supposedly AA's promoter is going to file an appeal to have the DQ overturned. What is the point? If they change it from an 'intentional foul' to a 'non-intentional foul - could not continue' then AA loses by a wide UD.
