Arthur Abraham underrated

    He has beaten Edison Miranda, a good boxer, twice. He's beaten Jermain Taylor, another good boxer. He went the distance with Carl Froch. He has won most of his fights on knockout. Why is he so underrated?

    I agree, he is a good fighter, he just needs to stay at 160

    As for why he's underrated, that's easy.

    He can't be underrated by everyone.

    Some people will rate him too highly, some people won't rate him highly enough, but most people with a decent knowledge of the super middleweight division will rate him quite fairly.

    At one point hes was very overrated.

    No i think hes rated accordingly.

    A good solid fighter but not an elite one.

    Abraham was used to be pretty decent relaxed, sharp, efficient, obviously explosive and heavy handed physically strong, good chin, tight defense etc but in his last couple of fights he was just swinging and slapping around and looked **** poor so i don't think hes underrated currently

    I see your point but I don't think he's underrated at SMW. He obviously can't compete with the top guys of that weight class and most people have him rightfully at about 5-7th. :hat That's not bad given the fact that he hasn't done particularly big things as a SMW and seems to have lost "it" the last couple of fights.

    I do hope he'll become a 2 weight class champion Saturday though. :yep

    The super6 didnt work out well for AA & the losses to Froch & Ward really put a dent in his confidence

    He seems to be a nice guy,but he can't compete with the SMW's.Get back down to the 60's and do your stuff.
