Mate Im no troll but that was low quality. If it wasn't I'd not have turned it off at the end of the 11th.

AA didnt need to bring his A game for this fight which would explain how sloppy he looked but i give AA a great chance at beating pavlik

Abraham - slow footed, wide looping punches, very open while throwing punches, no footwork, fighting in spurps, backing up in straight lines, **** poor workrate. He has a good one punch KO powet but thats all.

Please don't fool yourselves, he fights like a ****ing amateur. He has power but that's all. Anybody who thinks that a fight with Pavlik is 50/50 needs a doc.

    QUOTE SEAN:

i enjoyed the fight, good tempo, hardly any clinching and spectacular 1 punch ko finish, yet reading this thread back, it seems i am virtually alone in this opinion

all i see is bitching and my man would **** your man up and they are bums/crap/stiff/useless etc etc

    usual esb stuff.

take a step back, enjoy fights as a spectacle first, if the fight is poor then complain.

IMO this was a good spectacle .

He has an ok punchers chance because Pavlik is not exactly Herol Graham, but yeah, KP should walk all over him.

    this was typical abraham.
    its the way he fights.

i have seen all his televised fights since he was just starting out.

    he is awkward but effective.

ayala was just the sort of fighter to give him problems/high tempo/agressive/willing to let his hands go.

I agree. Also - the reason Ayala survived untill the 12th was because of his upper body movement. Pavlik has close to zero upper body movent. But KP has the jab and right hand to really trouble AA. I sure hope this fight will be made!!!

An AA/KP fight would probably be quite entertaing. As you say movement gives Abraham trouble. Pavlik would force him too fight back and make it entertaing. Good matchup even if your not a Abraham fan.

I think both of those missed punches were by design too. Last night Teddy Atlas was discussing this exact move in his fight plan. Use the right hand as a decoy/throwaway punch then follow up with the big left hook.

not sure what people tuned in to see.

abraham is what he is .

    turtle defense double arm guard
    slow starter
    good jab
slow feet cutting of the ring.
decent feet going back when he wants
    no upper body movemnent.
    head hunter
    fights in spurts/
    good chin.
    fights muscle bound and tight
does not set up a lot .

this is what everyone seems to be picking up on bar a few saying he is an amatuer and ****

what his detractors on this thread are not seeing are his intagibles that you have to factor in with him.

he is immensely physically strong for a middleweight and has such heavy hands and one punch power 1 through 12.

size/strength/ brute force might be nothing to do with boxing skills or abilty , but they are a big advantage never the less at all weights and must be factored in when assesing fighters.

SEAN is the man on ESB. Seriously - this analysis is nothing but the truth!
