is taylor having sex during training camp? i never seen a fighter run out of gas so fast. i know it's an old wives tale, as chris byrd proved on tv a few years ago but each fighter is different.

I can't trust Taylor to win any big fights anymore...I dunno, but then again I can't see Abraham winning unless Taylor starts running away (which he doesn't, even when he probably should) or he knocks him out. Too tough to call; 50/50 fight I think.

my god just look at the level of competition taylor has been in there with compared to aa. yes aa has tremendous one punch power but who the hell has he ever fought?? miranda would be pretty far down the list on taylor's resume.

if you don't have a pressure style like pav and froch do, how the hell do you expect jt to gas?? i think taylor can win this fight pretty easily if he sticks to his gameplan and doesnt get sloppy. to write jt off completely and buy into the aa is an invincible monster is pretty foolish considering who jt has fought and who aa hasnt.

its not a foregone conclusion by any means. aa could definetly catch jt and end it but to just write jt off is stupid.

:good The smartest man in the ring will win. Against Froch, Taylor was not the smartest one.

JT will be the benchmark for AA. If he is able to KO him, I don't see anyone in the tournament beating him.

BUT: JT has everything to beat AA by a wide UD. However, AA has his puncher's chance and I can also see AA make Taylor gas, because AA's punches - flush or not - are very strong. Even someone who is in very good shape will feel these punches. There's noone who can take them with a grin on his face.

The fight is 60/40 in favor of JT...

Let me put it this way: If Jermain loses to Arthur Abraham, JT needs to retire immediately because he is shot to ****. If a fighter goes from back to back wins over BHop, and then loses to Abraham, one cannot draw any other reasonable conclusion.

Taylor has absolutely everything that troubles Abraham. If you've seen AA fight more than 2 or 3 times, then you already know that the things that trouble Abraham are called "boxing skills."

I challenge any one of you to thoroughly study Abraham and his resume, and then come back here and tell me how the **** this guy beats any decent version of Jermain Taylor. If Abraham wins, it means Pavlik and Froch ruined JT. Nothing more. However, I personally suspect that Jermain is ruined.

King arthur might just break him in half. I dont think JT has enough power to keep him off, although AA is not a pressure fighter. When AA connects look for jt to buckle

What happens if not cutting weight allows AA to have a higher work rate?

If Taylor isn't too shop worn from the beatings he's taken lately then I expect a good and evenly contested fight which likely goes to the scorecards. If he's too much on the downslide then I'm thinking Abraham knocks him out late and gives Taylor a prety good beating in the process.

Any way you slice it, this will be a very entertaining fight, whether it goes the distance or not. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'd make AA slight favourite but it could go either way, if they fought 3 or 4 times I wouldn't expect the same guy to win each one. 5/2 looks a great price on Taylor.
