I'm curious to know your opinion on this one..
when Pavlik vs Abraham is debated, people are saying that the work rate of Pavlik could be his downfall because he is open to the counterpuncher Abraham...

Calzaghe have a huge work rate, and sometime do throw some lazy slaps wide..Abraham could catch him no?

any way i'm curious to see your opinion..i've never seen this fight debated..

imo both Calzaghe and Pavlik beat Abraham

all 3 are very good fighters.

very good point, anyone that says pavlik will loose to abraham can't say calzaghe would'nt. because they are both volume punchers, but pavlik hits 3 times as hard.

and Calzaghe is 3 times as fast.

    and more accurate.

    and a southpaw.

    and more experienced.

Abraham with his proven jaw and ability to turtle up in defense would weather a Pavlik storm, still think Pavlik could beat him in a UD12 but I don't expect either fighter to get KO'ed there.

Although I will say, handspeed and ability to throw power shots, Abraham is every bit the equal in power as Pavlik in my view, maybe not one shot power but his speed combined with combos gives him the same effect.

Joe, well, he's not just workrate and go forward like Pavlik, he can box you from the outside, beat you to the punch on the inside, give you as good as you give him in the rough clinches and change up the pattern of his fight midway through

It's what allows him to turn a close fight for the first four rounds into a near lopsided fight there after, cause he just changes gear.

I expect UD12 for Joe here.. something like a 116-114.

    As AA?
EDIT: wrong quote...I am regarding to Pavlik. Pavlik doesn't hit 3 times as hard. AA hits harder.

    You've gotta be kidding!
