ive heard abraham may delay the pavlik fight even longer by fighting sturm after marquez, by which time another ibf mandatory!

 

Sturm will never fight AA.

Was this heard from anything reliable?

 

I dont know how much Sturm makes per defence but I read an article that Team Abe offered him $2.5 million euro to fight, which is an obscene amount of money. Thats like $4.3 mill AUD, nearly $4 million U.S and 2 million pound.

Sturm looked elsewhere, there is no way he made near that fighting Pittman or Griffin I reckon. Its clear he wants no piece of Arthur, I dont blame him..Abe would molest him.

Sturm is another belt holder, how could he be a mandatory?

Abraham is fighting Marquez and afterwards want´s to fight Pavlik to see who is the best MW at the moment.

 

If I remember correctly Jan. 19 is the talked about date Abe vs KP.

Sylvester might, and he should have the opportunity to fight Sturm soon enough. Although whether he'll win that is another question.

Pavlik is my personal favorite in the sport right now but after watching Abraham v. Miranda II my money is on Abraham if he fights Pavlik. He looked so calm, confident and smooth in that fight and dismantled Miranda with ease. Pavlik is in for a tough fight if it happens.
