I belive I indicated that Hagler would win, and by a wide margin.

And IMO, Abraham has the better chin.

But only by a whisker.

And I wouldn't dispute that point too much.

 

Hagler wipe's the floor with Abraham IMO.

True that. Im an Abraham fan, but he has a long way to go before he can be compared to Hagler. First and foremost, he has to be the number one middleweight in his era, this means beating Pavlik. If he succeeds in beating Pavlik and somehow fights and beats Hopkins, only then can there be consideration of him possibily beating Hagler.

 

Modern size MW (nearly SMW) against an old time MW (would be a JMW these days). Abraham by TKO. It would be similar to the Marquez fight. Smart, patient pressure beating high-output brawling pressure.

 

AA would get his jaw busted....again.

Hagler's chin is just too good.

 

Sure AA boxed for a few rounds against Miranda with a broken jaw, but Miranda is ****, as we have seen.

Comparing AA's chin to Marvins' is plain.....stupid.

 

That 'few' was eight and a half, against one of the biggest punchers in the division.

Very few boxers have that kind of toughness.

And if you read the entire thread and my posts, including my last response to Sweetpea, you might get the idea.

As I mentioned earlier, this fight goes the distance and I would pick Hagler here by a good margin UD.

But all things considered, if someone doesn't make it to the final bell, that someone would probably be the considerably smaller Marvin.

Abraham is getting even more over rated on this thread than he normally is on ESB. Get real. AA is an untested, unproven, european level titlist whose best win was Edison Miranda.

Haglar would win every round on the way to a highlight reel KO around the 6th or 7th.
