...has officially entered the championship rounds, so anybody who bet real money on the Over 9.5 has cause to celebrate. (although odds can't have been too great, because this was kind of a no-brainer) I've seen from the eighth through now halfway into the eleventh and they're matched pretty evenly. Sjekloca is cut, though.
Abraham would have murdered Sjekloca in his prime. In fairness Sjekloca has a very good engine and throws alot of punches he's a bit like Periban but even weaker with the punches. Good little fight this but Abraham has edged it since the fourth round for me.
Abraham is done and has been for a couple of years. Excellent middleweight, good super middleweight, overall a great career and now its time to call it a day imo.
Twelfth underway... Sjekloca goes down! The ref called a slip, though Abraham did club him. It has mostly been single jabs by Abraham with Sjekloca eating them willingly to rope his long arms into Abraham's face with light straight flurries. Quite a bit of sloppy missing behind the head and incidental butting from both. Some people on Twitter are saying Abraham injured his right hand earlier and has barely thrown it since.
Abraham is probably about to get the decision. The majority of fans on Twitter have it 8-4 to 7-5 range for Sjekloca, a draw, or 7-5 to Abraham...but...
119-110 ?!?! Oh lord. I told myself never to bet on a Sauerland event again after Lebedev-Huck, but I couldn't really stop myself with +950 on Sjekloca by decision. Oh well.
