    Round 6

Konečný is covering his wound using his left glove between jabs. Achour backs up and rattles off a loose combination of straights and overhands, not bothering to snap anything since his power isn't troubling Konečný anyway - just looking to get his licks in. Konečný isn't rushing in recklessly, though. Achour slaps underhand at the body while Konečný drops in overhands. BIG right hand to the chin by Konečný, and a grazing left hook to the temple following. Konečný ducks and springs up with a left hook, caught on the back of Achour's gloves.

    10-9 Konečný

    59-55 Konečný

I am pretty pumped.. The first match was a highly competitive bout that was worth watching imo, and it could have gone either way..
Also you'll get two top 10 SMWs squaring off, always nice to see two top 10 guys going at it, in any division.

Not a cut. He basically needs a fluke DQ to win at this point.

Helenius needs impressive KO-victory tonight. Any other result is a disappoiment and to be honest I give up my hopes with Helenius if he doesn't beat Sprott easily. If (IF!!!!) you are worldclass fighter you have to beat Sprott without much of harm. I'm very interested to see what Helenius brings to the table tonight..

Agreed, the first bout was entertaining and even competitive the further it went on. However, I felt Abraham had an easy time with Stieglitz in the first half of the fight and was one big shot away from putting him on the canvas. His slacking in second half made the fight appear closer than the skill gap betwenn them both actually was.

    Round 7

Konečný is body-feinting, twitching as though he's about to lean forward but then jerking backward. Achour reacts to each one, hopping to his left. Jab by Konečný, lightly tapping Achour's gloves and hairline. Achour pushes in with left forearm thrusts and overhand rights into the area of Konečný's cut. Flush jab by Konečný. Achour pushes a few jabs into Konečný's guard.

    10-9 Konečný

    69-64 Konečný

    It wasn't so bad. :conf

As far as middleweight title bouts go, it was about equal distance betwen the opposite ends of the spectrum - Hagler vs. Hearns and Zbik vs. Spada I or II. :yep
