I know AA hasn't found at SMW yet, but still I think we have a good idea of his abilities in the ring. What do you guys think would be the oitcome of this fight?
As much as I found Ottke a very boring fighter I think he would win a wide UD against AA. Because like him or not, Ottke was fast on his feet and quite an elusive boxer.

Ottke is truly underrated. Calzaghe was the anti-Ottke, a bit faster, very elusive, throwed shitloads of punches and handled the European style extremely well. Abraham is an Ottke wannabe on the defensive but with less success and not busy enough to pull a Reid. He'd lose a wide decision. Horrible style for him.

AA would be pretty clueless in this match up. Otkke clear, frustrating ud.

I was so on the AA bandwagon when he first hit the scene..When they chucked him in against Nader Hamden after 10 or 11 fights, I thought they must be confident in his abilities.

The first time I saw him I was impressed..The first time I saw him in a title fight I was impressed.
After that he mixed in some excellent highlight reel ko's in between some phoned in performances.
Just hasnt done what I was expecting him to do.

I see Sven grinding it out pretty clear here...To fleet footed and wont give enough away for Abe to land something fight changing.

They used to spar to together before Abraham turned pro. Abraham did pretty good, so Wegner hired him and he went pro.

    That's quite interesting!

Do you know anything about AA's amateur career/experience?

I remember reading he had like 90 am fights, with about 80 wins.

Didnt start boxing till 18-19 I think.

No, there was a picture posted of young AA in boxing gear, he looked like 14. Very skinny, no muscles yet, so unlikely he was already 18 or 19.

    From this link... http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=20263&more=1

    Thought I read it somewhere.

I thought he only moved to Germany at 14-15..of that Im pretty sure because it seems to be confirmed in every biography I can see on him.

Ottke wouldn't need any help IMO.

I just see him as too fleet footed for King Arthur to deal with effectively. I think he'd outwork AA, there is always going to be a guy that outworks him and doesn't get knocked out. Ottke would be one of those guys.

Mitchell got beat mate..That fight wasnt controversial..Pretty close but there is basically no argument for the ineffective aggression of Mitchell winning that fight for him.

The first Brewer fight on the other hand I did score for Chuck..the second I didnt.

    Abraham by decapitation.

This post may be biased because of my absolute loathing of Ottke.

Interesting, he looked like 14 in the pic - a skinny kid, no visible muscles and babyfaced.
