Ottke was a defensive fighter, Abraham is an offensive one who fights in spurts. Difficult to tell who can establish his gameplan in that fight.

 

Ottke beats him pretty easily in a very boring fight. Abraham's not aggressive enough to get to Ottke.

 

Ottke can't beat AA. He did not have enough power to keep AA off of him. Ottke never fought a guy with AA's power or boxing ability.

 

When has anyone had to make an effort to "keep AA off of him"? Abraham plods, and for 2/3 of the round he doesn't even throw punches. Ottke would have no problem with jabbing circles around Abraham for the first couple minutes of the round, and when Abraham finally comes forward, clinching him to death.

 

Ottke was the master of negative, defensive fighting, so there is a good chance he would turn this into a total stinker with both fighters almost not landing anything at all. Ottke did that to good technicians, fighters like Larsen, Mundine, Brewer, Mitchell landed less than one handful of clean punches on him COMBINED.
