a guy that got knocked out at welterweight (though a masterful boxer) facing the most powerful middleweight. i think it's clear that abraham is the clear favourite here. forrest hasn't tasted punches anywhere near as hard as abraham's.

I'd love to hear how you think the fight goes down that AA decisions him.

Yeah he does. It's called boxing.

Unfortunately, that may not be enough, but it very well could be as Abraham is not as aggressive as Mayorga was.

As much as I know Abraham will win, I'll go with Forrest.

How do you not see Forrest being more skilled?

You got one guy who is tall, rangy, fast, good on his feet and a good counterpuncher.

You got another guy who's short, stocky, his defense is basically just put his gloves up and absorb punches, doesn't have much of a workrate, and has KO power in both hands along with a great chin.

If Forrest can keep circling this guy and avoid being hit by Abraham's punches, he can win this fight by UD.

Then again, if Abraham doesn't respect Forrest's punches, it's game over for Forrest more than likely.

I don't see him decisioning Vernon, despite Vernon being past his best.

But I would pick Arthur for the KO.

If we were heading into round 12 with Vernon leading 110-99, I would still pick Arthur for the stoppage.

If that was the case though, Arthur would have to give it up and go ape **** out there.

If Forrest can hit that mother ****er hard enough though, Arthur might be too hesitant to bring it out.

Still though, Abraham has so much to lose if he loses this fight. It's hard to pick against him, despite the fact that Forrest is a much better technician.

i may have went with forrest if he was still in his prime, but he is far from it at this point. even when he beat mora in the rematch, you could still tell he wasnt his old self. although i will admit i havent see arthur's last performance and dont know how well he looked in the fight.

    EDIT: misread the question

im not sure how the fight goes down tbh lol. i just cant see vernon coming out on top considering he isn't what he once was.

Gets the better of the very few exchanges in each round (as I just don't see Vernon pressing the action) and scores at least a few KDs but is unable to put Forrest away due to the limited engagement?

A club fighter who has been living off Bronco McKart's left overs took 3, maybe 4, rounds off of him. LuJaun Simon's jab troubled Arthur at times, and at one point Simon hit AA with a left hook that a better fighter would have closed the show with. Sorry, but that version of Arthur would get embarrassed by Forrest.

Arthur needs a KO in this one. If he doesn't look a hell of a lot better than he did the other night, he won't get it.

I don't know AA well enough? What would make you utter those words lol...??? Nobody has outboxed AA, and an old Forrest won't be the first to do so. This won't be hop-Pav all over again.

Being skilled doesnt mean **** if you cant get your opponent to respect your power...AA will walk through Forrest and KO him, if Vernon was younger I could see your point but there is no way in hell FOrrest beat AA.

AA takes this, he'll be eager to impress on American soil and I think ageing Forrest is a good oponent to make him look good.
