It wouldn't be a better W, on top of Bute's other better wins. Stieglitz would probably be top 5. Hes just not that good.

 

Andrade I agree.. Bika is probably a better H2H threat than Stieglitz, but Stieglitz has done more. Same thing goes for Miranda when he was in his prime, he was shot when Bute got him.

 

Of course Bika is a better win. Stieglitz hiding in Germany with his paper belt shouldn't mean much to anyone.

 

Stieglitz was belt holder who fought borderline B level opposition. Sure, his belt may not mean a lot, but he has still fought some decent opponents.
I am not claiming that Stieglitz is an elite fighter, but he is a genuine top 10 guy in his weight class, with a better career than Bika and Miranda (even though he didn't take the same risks as they took).

 

He still wouldn't be Bute's 2nd best win though which was your main point.

Bika, Andrade, Johnson, Berrio are better wins for Bute.

 

Better to lose at world class level than to lose at domestic level like Stieglitz atsch

 

Stieglitz has a better SMW resume than all of them but Andrade.
