AA showed he can be schooled in the dirrel fight and i though direll was gonna be smashed with in 5 or so

 

I wouldn't say schooled, Dirrell Boxed well from the outside using his speed and Height.. AA had his moments, and definitely had Dirrell in a lot of trouble toward the end. AA needs to start fast against a guy like Dirrell, he depends too much on his power in fights. Watch Most of AA's fights, including vs Taylor... Taylor looked great in the first 4 rounds, but then AA began to unleash and Taylor didn't have the defense or movement to avoid the power shots all night.

 

No, he was definitely dominated and hurt by Dirrell in the fight, to say otherwise is ridiculous. He definitely came on strong at the end but who knows what would have happened?

 

I'm starting to think Abraham will have his way with Froch as well.

Dominated for most of the early fight.

But never close to hurt.

He was hurt with a multiple compound jaw fracture against Miranda.

That was 'hurt.'


He was clearly coming on towards the end and Dirrell was on the run.

Dirrell dominated Abraham but thats Dirrell. He's a special talent.



Froch couldnt beat a blind Kessler who was never that good to begin with. I dont see Froch throwing combos from the outside and dodging Abrahams punches.


Definitely a candidate for knockout of they year. Froch has been hurt by Taylor, Kessler and Dirrell. I'd suspect Abraham lands its curtains.

IF (& I'm saying if) Froch gets done over, you have to look at the quality of opposition he has fought on the trot.

One thing for sure, Froch won't ***** out with BS neurological damage

 

That KD was a result of damage and impact, not balance. Look at his expression if there's any doubt. AA was hurt by it.

 

Well, I'm somewhat of an Abraham fan, and I don't care much for Froch, so I'm hoping AA takes it.

BUT...

Froch, despite his apparent lack of serious skills, is a pretty tough guy and seems to get the job done.

He impressed me against Pascal, and again against Taylor, though he was admittedly lucky there.

He did not impress against Dirrell, but Dirrell is a slick boxer, despite having been born without testicles.

He hung in well with Kessler, but we've since learned that Kessler has had eye problems since before the fight.


AA has never had problems with anyone (well, he struggled a bit when he had his jaw broken :yep) except slick Dirrell. And even there, I have a feeling that he would have prevailed there had not Dirrell been able to slyly capitalize on AA's over-enthusiasm.




So to your question ?


I'm leaning towards AA but this is the least comfortable I've been in picking him in several years.
