...For the people who missed it last saturday. http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/arthur+abraham/video/x3puwn_arthur-abraham-vs-wayne-elcock-tko Now everyone has their opinion on who will win against Abraham and Pavlik, but one thing you can't deny is that this is the most expolsive middle weight match up that can be made. :deal
That was not devastating power...he was throwing hail marys at a guy that basically quite and was a ****ing zombie tomato can. That being said it was a good stoppage and the left hook on the chin was a great punch but nothing else was even close to devastating... Pavlik would beat the **** out of him.
I heard Abraham was losing on the cards and his face did look beat up in that clip. Nice KO and he does have great power and good combos. He is nearly A level.
Ya his face did look beat up, its was from a headbut though earlier in the fight. Ive noticed though, Abraham fights according to the level of his opposition. I remember when this fight was anounced, Abraham just started camp, so he trained only a month. He also seems to be in love with his power, he relys on it too much, but im pretty sure he will be on his A game when he fights Pavlik.
Heres another fight of Abrahams, this ones against the 6'4 Kingsley Ikeke. Notice how Abraham is able to close the distance by jumping in, unloading bombs and getting out before Ikeke is abel to strike back. In this fight, Abraham totally neutralized Ikeke's height and reach, its this fast footwork that I believe will give Pavlik hell. Most pople want to catagorize Abraham as a crude slugger, but his not, the guy has excellent ring movement and knows how to fight backwards as shown against Miranda. Thats why I think his the biggest threat to Pavlik. [YT]0_a8Si1UkKc[/YT]
He can fight backwards but going backwards against pavlik with his peak a boo fake winky defense would cause him to be on the tail end of Pavliks power shot..Ikeke has the worst balance that I have ever seen and
if Miranda hadn't got so many points deducted he would've won that fight against Abraham. Why they gave him so much time once his jaw was broken was odd to me as well. In essense i think if Miranda can do it, Kelly will crush Abraham But i'd love to see it as Abraham is "the other" champ at 160
Abraham could very well KO Pavlik, but I wouldn't bet on it. His explosive power and underrated hand speed could hurt anybody out there if he caught them flush.
IF Pavlic gets caught by a bomb, he´s finished. If he can outbox Abraham he will win. Simple as that...
If Abraham has as much viscous power as he looks like in that fight, than Miranda must have a steel chin. in the miranda fight his power looked like ****.
Abraham had Miranda on wobbeli legs more than once. But lets be real here, its not easy to KO somone when your jaw is broke in two placs and your bleeding like a shot pig.
