you're right, i saw rnd 10 and it looked like they threw a towel in. I would say tho it wasn't the jab that did him in, he was gassed and ate a nasty 1-2 , he was out on his feet the jab was just the tip of the spear to do him in. Seems more like a cardio issue. The fight was 2019 , and he's patched up a lot of holes, doesn't throw as much volume, hits more to the body, still maintain he can get the job done.
Beterbiev in two or one rounds. I don't see this being any different than the Smith fight. The only thing that can defeat Beterbiev (maybe) is his knee if it goes mid fight. He could probably fight Bivol on the same night.
Has to be Beterbiev. However, Yarde is one powerful MF and if he can land something big earlyish he could turn it around in his favour. Those pointing out that Artur is 38 are quite correct. He's on a clock due to his age.
Yes he has a higher ko ratio his only decision win was in his second fight. and that was a 4 round fight. this guy went 6 rounds with Joe and he has 7 ko losses on his record. This content is protected Anthony hits harder and its not even close. Look at his frame. His back muscles and shoulders, he is pretty damn big for this weight class.
Joe Smith Jr has fought much better opposition than Yarde - cans crush easily - and musculature isn't always the best indicator of punch power. Fine, argue Yarde hits harder (I don't agree but fair enough) but to say it's not even close is a stretch. And there's a case to be made, of Beterbiev's opponents, Callum Johnson hits harder than Yarde too. Yarde can dig though, is brave and won't run. He'll lose in my view and get stopped but he'll make a fight of it...
