i'm not going to comment on the whole post. just a few points. there were at least 4 on-line streams of the fight. there was thread about it here and on the p2p.eu forum. the "we" was in reference to the people who watched the fight without paying for it via one of these streams, rather than a collective reference for people who don't agree with you. as for scoring fights, i really can't see why you can't get your head around this. all i do is make a judgement on who won each round as the fight progresses and then use mental arithmetic to equate this to an overal score. i.e. scoring a fight.
Another who values his own input way more than is healthy. Show me where I've even scored a Hatton fight on here. Don't bother searching by the way, I haven't. You never let the truth get in the way of your bull**** do you? TFFP - 'The Phantom misquoter' aka 'Biggest twat on the forum'
I wait with baited breath See what I mean about humourless? I changed a quote for a little bit of fun, it got the desired effect and you are still whining about it. Dry your eyes man. I bet you'd love Ricky to get you in one of those clinches wouldn't you? :hey
This is funny because it's an exact mirror image parody of the actual truth! The number of "usual suspect" Hatton haters who came out after the Mayweather fight with their pre-written rubbish about how Mayweather won every round in a one-sided arse kicking and the ref was inch perfect was just hilarious!
He didn't win every round. He at worst drew a couple. You could well score him for defence and ring generalship when Ricky was bruising his arms. I scored a few 10-10, I suspect Cortez would have done the same had he been judging.
I scored it 6-3 which I think was a fair interpretation. Whilst Hatton had difficulty landing anything clean to the had, as fighters generally do with Mayweather, he did some decent body work, which as we know from the Olympics tends to get ignored and there were periods where PBF was doing little besides the Ali rope-a-dope. I tried to find a winner in every round as I guessed the judges would (per the American phobia of even rounds). Back to thread title, I boycotted the fight, however, doesn't surprise me too much that Arthur lost - this was basically a glorified European title bout, neither guy would be top ten if Pac, Marquez, Barrera etc.. were still at the weight.
Do you discuss Hatton in every thread? Come on, get a grip FFS. Try and separate the issue from the posters, every single subject on this board shouldn't some down to you vs. Hatton fans. AAA lost fight, he knows he lost the fight and I suspect YOU know he lost the fight so let people discuss the AAA-Cooke issue and stop using the thread to get on your tired little Hatton soapbox.
Dunky is a man of steel :happy In all fairness, I do think AAA lost the fight though he does bring up some good points about the English ref, English judges...pretty rough when he's fighting in England as it is... He should have brought all these points up before the fight took place though...rather than afterward if he really thought it was an issue. Still, bottom line is for me there was no robbery which is what AAA is claiming unfortunatly.
Arsehole Arthur was beaten fair and square by Cook. If Asrsehole Arthur wants I am sure Cook would give him a rematch but oh no Arthur does not want that as Cook will truly turn him into his ***** with another easy win.
TBH when he was on Bunces show last week a rematch with Cook was the only fight Arthur mentioned or seemed interested in.
On the one hand they say he is weight drained and on the other they want rematch. Just proves how much of an arsehole AAA is.
