Entitled to your opinion, I just don't agree. I'm pretty sure even in the cold light of day Arthur will re-evaluate this one. He lost all on his own...nothing to do with the judges.

I'd love to hear all these examples of your argument, cause I really can't think of any off the top of my head.

AAA is usually a good guy and that is the reason I follow him. I really like Scottish boxers and hope them every success (especially over dirty cheating cockneys and Scousers and Mancs) but this is one of the more common excuses we have to sit through. Not as bad as the guys who claim they were drugged or made a simple mistake but still annoying enough to stick in the mind. I guess some things just stay with you.

I hope he moves upto Lightweight and gets abit of success. AAA against Thaxton, Murray and Khan are great fights that have alot of potential to be made.

Arthur's comments remind me of Harrison after Medina took his WBO featherweight title. That was one sided fight. Harrison won three rounds at the very best and couldn't pull the trigger all night. Medina's punches weren't effective but he outscored Harrison and outworked him all night long.

Because I don't particularly remember anyone else blaming a clear loss on the English? Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong....:think

    Yes definately Robbi.

And before you say anything dwilson the judges for that fight were Roy Francis, Melvina Lathan and Larry Hazzard Jr which means he couldn't have blamed it all on the English!! :yep

what a load of shite.your havering pish.

the matter of the fact is if there is a world title fight the judges really should be from neutral country and it would save things like this from being used as an excuses

Yes definately although regardless of where the judges are from there will always be a fighter who thinks (or says it to try and save face) he was robbed :smooch

Arthur was terrible last night. To be honest I don't think he looked interested. For example, it was obvious after he caught him with that big punch around the 4th that he could win if he stepped it up but he just couldn't get any snap into his work.

I've never rated Cook but he deserved his victory, he fought really well, I had it 117 - 111.

Edited to add that I'm Scottish and the only bias last night was the score with only 1 round in it.

what a shocker...Alex Arthur talking deluded bollocks.

3 English judges probably wasn't a smart thing to to however. He shoulda said something BEFORE the fight though.
