Speaking of Strike, I got a 'counterstrike' for you Strike. Alex plays the big all loving christian card, if you seen the fight like I did you would have noticed Arthurs antics in his corner, he was hamming it up big style.
Arthur has a nasty side, he displays it when he fights weegies.

However, he plays the devout christian card nowadays & it didnt shock me in the slightest to see him retract his earlier comments & come across as bearing no grudges on Bunces show.
In fact, I cringed listening to him trying to show his loving side, cos any limond, Burns or Docherty fan would tell you that Alex Arthur isnt that lovebale character he trie to portray himself as nowadays.
The mask slipped for a moment, & Arthur showed his true side Cook post-fight.
With a few days to stew on it though, Arthur reverted back to his all loving persona that he likes to put on display nowadays, the kind of persona he was using during the Cooke fight as he hammed it up for the cameras.

Scottish boxing fans know the REAL Alex Arthur. I can get a whole lot deeper if need be.

No offence though Strike, but you havent even seen the fight! How dare you attempt to mock a man that

a. Knows his boxing.
b. Actually watches fights!

when a casual fan dares take issue with me about a fight he hasnt even seen with his own eyes... I find myself shaking my big scottish head in disbelief.

I can be as overly patriotic as the next guy and I dont have much time for Cook after some of the somewhat anti-scots things he said after the Harrison fight fell through but Arthur lost ( and yeah I did watch the fight )

i'v only seen pieces of the fight and whenever arthur hurt nicky or got any sort of momentum going he would quickly burn out, i think it was in the 7th nicky was really shook by a right, and in the last 3 round it seemed as though arthur didnt really care about winning, i dont want to sound bias against cook but i thought he put on a decent clinic but arthur didnt appear himself

 

So because he's ment to have got caught shoplifting when he was about 18?, you think its ok to come on here and say he and his family are chav's and ned's, this is a boxing forum your well out of order.

And as for him being in the shop causing **** until recently i find that very hard to believe, he's a 30 year old father of 3 who until recently was also a world champion boxer i think someone might have phoned the police or the paper's.

 

Boxing news made a good point that there were 3 English judges for the Foster Jnr fight, Alex made no complaint then, or is that because he won?

 

In time GM, you will realise I am not 'mental' I just tell it like it is. Why am I mental cos I dont agree with the majority of the posters on here?

After all, unlike Strike I watch a fight by myself & make my own judgements. I just wish others would follow suit before attacking my credibility as a poster.
