"So and So wants Kelly Pavlik anytime, anyplace." That is a VERY familiar story. Calzaghe, Wright, Williams, and Mora all told the same tale. None of them ever fought KP. Calzaghe ran like a little girl. Wright priced himself out multiple times. Williams priced himself out. Mora couldn't find the step aside money to pay Forest. Now Arthur, who averages around $700K per fight, wants $2 million plus the German TV rights. It's my understanding that German TV rights would tally up to around $600K. In other words, a guy who makes $700K per fight wants $2.6 million to fight Pavlik. I wonder why:think

So you are a blind follower of Arum's word? Take that...

...it's called negotiating for a reason...btw, Dollar isn't quite the Euro - Abraham makes a bout $800,000 a fight - highest paid fight was vs. Elcock for approx. $1.4 million at the time (keep in mind the exchange rate).

We know what one knowledgeable poster said about June. I think that reflects Kelly's thinking. Is Arum just proving to be the master negotiator here? Still, Duddy for the money, Sturm unifications, Abraham for unification would be brilliant promoting if he could pull it off. :deal

    Has Sauerland disputed Arum's claim?

TomT is correcting the dollar amounts, but the rest of that is pretty accurate. Arum won't even talk to Goosen about ANY fight after the way he got jerked around over a Pavlik fight that THEY asked for. Cal is pretty common knowladge and has been discussed into the ground.

Sauerland is the only one we have heard in the media since Loew's comment. Little doubt they want the fight in the worst way though. Arum knows that.

Ive been hearing alot from Abrhams people trying to make this fight. All I hear from Kellys people is John Duddy.

No, Pavlik officially got his arse handed to him by BHop and then the fight with Calzaghe didn't make sense.

Yes, Sauerland has made comments to the media, but he has not disputed the claim that they simply want to much money to make Pavlik/Abraham. Considering the speed with which they disputed Leow's claim about going to Germany, I think they would have countered the money claim if it were false.

    And how do you know?
Did you meet him at his rematch vs. Miranda?
Maybe you are mixing him up with his lil brother Alexander...
