    Arthur Cordero Villanueva is 5'5 26 year old Super Flyweight with a 27-0 14 KO's record. Born in Bago City, Negros Occidental, Philippines and fighting out of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Arthur grew up in the slums of Bago City in the Barangay of Ma-ao Barrio he was the second youngest of 12 children his dad died when he was 15 and his mom had to raise them all by herself, he excelled at math in school and through out his school years he picked up 4 medals in chess, which means he's a pretty damn intelligent kid. He started boxing at 15 and has a record of 42-7 as an amateur. In the ring his chess skills seem to be paying off he has a good jab, good defense and is good at setting the pace and controlling the distance, he has decent but not overwhelming power and he can fight a very patient fight or if it calls for it he can go to war, because he's good at that too. It's too soon to tell if he'll be a threat to the likes of Cuadras and Inoue but he can definitely be a handful for many others in the division.     Really don't rate this kid...he has ability for sure but appears VERY inconsistent despite being unbeaten

    He didn't look that great in the Aguilar match or at times in the Julio Cesar Miranda match but I still think he has potential, not sure how much though, but I think he's worthy of a thread.
