Looks like this is going ahead in September. Can Cook upset AAA. I know he was very weight drained against Luevano.

I doubt it, he's way smaller than Arthur. He doesn't really have anything in his favour in this fight, and he won't be a puncher at super feather to expose Arthur's questionable chin.

Its about time Cook started fighting more regularly, and in decent class. Not a bad little fighter, has been forgotten.

I don think so, unless making weight takes its effect on Arthur. He needs to move up after this, all the decent fights are at Lightweight anyway.

yeh Cook is alot better i think than foster jnr, and AAA is struggling at the weight.

I'd pick AAA to win but if he struggles he has to move up - he obviously needs a change.

I read this week that Arthur was going to face either Jesus Chavez or a younger Mexican who's name Ive forgotten.

I suppose Warren is probably thinking that if he puts Arthur in against Cook he will still have the belt regardless of who wins and then the winner can face Kevin Mitchell, in whichcase he will still have the belt regardless of who wins. If I was a promoter Id probably do the same thing.

I would pick Arthur to come out tops out of the 3 of them.

Fair enough, sounds more likely than something written in the sun.

i like cooky in this one. i still see nothing in AAA that makes me believe him to be anything other than a good honest, but c level fighter.

Alex isnt world class. I think his reached his level and wont achieve much more than the WBO which was gifted to him. Cook on the other hand has been around the block a bit and despite his fairly glittering record (which in some respects does flatter to decieve) did accomplish his trade the hard way, by winning all domestic titles much like AA did. The main diffrence is AA had a speedy hype train right behind him. Cooky is a much hungrier fighter than Alex and Alex for some time has bought into his own hype hence his shocking loss to Gomez.

WBO title or not this is a genuine 50/50 fight for me and Cooky is no Stephen Foster. AA will have his hands full. Cooky can punch but his not the type of puncher like Gomez that puts alot on them. His more of a box puncher much like AA. I hope Nicky has enough left in the tank as when i spoke to him last which was some years ago he seemed very weary back then.

I watched Steve Luevanos fight last night and he was fortunate IMO to keep his strap but he handled Cookie with ease. I reckon as long as Arthur can comfortably make weight he will win.
