This shows how confident Guzman is. They're fighting for his title, yet he's more than happy to take the fight on Arthur's home turf.

I think he's going to dominate Arthur myself..

This just shows that Guzzy's Promoters Sycuan/GBP has no confidence on his Drawing appeal by bidding only $250K. Golden boy Paid PDL $300K for fighting a Class C opponent on his last fight just for comparison. It's not even in the main event.

My advice to Guzzy, Don't run on your next fight & Fight like a real SYcuan WARRIOR just like what JMM did in his previous fights. How about a KO win guzzy for a Change.

I hope its staged in Scotland or on a huge bill somewhere big. Arthur needs every advantage he can if he is hoping to win the title proper. I would love him to but its really stacked up against him.

    Welcome back.

Who cares about any of that? Guzman is fighting a tough fighter on his home turf. And you are focusing on his drawing power? You a fan of the sport or just how much money the boxers make?

If I were Guzzy, & I have all that talent, I will not waste the opportunity to be impressive on TV. That's opportunity is his advertising, you have to sell your self to the Boxing fans who paid these PPVs & Premium cable Subscription. This is his Profession, the goal is to make Money. Winning is not enough, make yourself a star Guzzy, time is running out for you for a Pac sweepstake.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. You only posted about his drawing power to point out why Pacquiao isn't fighting him. However, you fail to point out the multiple reasons he SHOULD fight him, or JMM should, if they win and stay at 130. This thread isn't about that (Or Pacquiao), and Guzman should be praised for giving someone a title shot AND fighting him on his home turf.

The goal of any profession is to make money. In most professions, you make more money the better you are at your job. Fans like you who worry more about risk/reward and their favorite fighters bank accounts are the reasons why the best don't fight the best. You provide the excuses.

Sports are not ONLY about the money...they are supposed to be about competitiveness and winning. Otherwise, children wouldn't play sports, nor would anyone else who can't make a living off of it.

What is a Sport if there's no Fans watching??? Pac make me a boxing fan again. If Guzzy is a Pinoy, I'll be probably watch his fight on free tv but I bet you I won't spend $50 to watch him.

A sport is a sport whether someone is watching it or not. It just isn't a lucrative one. Do you think that they only sports are the ones in the limelight?

And yes, I will spend $50 to watch ANY fight between good fighters, regardless of their styles. You never know how styles will mesh, and I enjoy all styles.
