Tyson never faced anyone as versatile imo and Louis faced an interesting fighter in Godoy in which he utilized the uppercut. Louis might get floored several times early, and sure he could stun Tyson and hurt him tough one. Tyson was too tough too be in the bum of the month club.

Lesser men than Tyson had Louis looking for the soft spot on the canvas.

Yes - and he more often than not got up to win. What's your point?

This is a fight where anything could happen. I used to outright favor Louis, but the more I think about it, the more I'm not so sure. This fight would depend on how well Louis chin held up to Tyson's barrage in the first few rounds. Most I can say is Tyson by early KO, Louis by late KO/TKO after flooring Tyson multiple times

I'm sorry, I just don't see it. The only fighters I see beating Tyson prime vs prime are Ali , Liston, Foreman, and possibly Frazier, Holyfield, Lewis, Holmes. J.Louis was an offensive machine, and had one of the most, if not the most dynamic offensive repertoire in the history of heavyweight boxing. But his chin wasn't the greatest, nor his defensive skills, and his foot speed was average at best. His 3 biggest weaknesses fell right in line to what Tyson did best. Quick hands AND feet, his ability to close the distance and land combination of hard punches while being able to slip and counter are the perfect antidote to J.Louis weaknesses. I'm sorry, but the only way I could see J.Louis beating Tyson prime vs prime is he would have to blitzkrieg Tyson like he did with Schmeling. But that also played right into Tyson's hands because Tyson was the master of the fast start. In my opinion, maybe mine alone, J.Louis doesn't beat Tyson, prime vs prime. Regardless of what those writers say, who I think or thinking more with their hearts than with their heads. As quite a few do on this site.

Would it have been better if Ruddock, or Tucker, or Bonecrusher, or Ribalta, or Thomas, or Biggs or Spinks or whoever the **** else give Tyson a flash knockdown in order for him to get up and win...would that be more impressive to you? THOUGHT NOT.

    Peace out bud.

Look, I know you’re in love with Mike Tyson and get emotional to think of him as being flawed, in any way, but he was flawed, nonetheless.

Bringing up knockdowns that had no material impact on the result of fights, during Louis’ reign as champion; then contrasting Tyson’s lack of the same, as though this was some kind of small victory in itself, is just you acting up like the pathetic fanboy you are.

You’ll never see any flaws in Tyson, but You really should have grown out of your ‘Iron Mike’ pyjamas by now. And, I don’t have time to debate with children.

    Ciao...

197 lb James Braddock put Louis down early.

Louis was 198 lbs for Max Schmeling 2 fight, but blasted out bigger men like M.Baer, Buddy Baer, & Primo C.
Tyson is 4-inches shorter, & 5 inches less reach that Louis.
Tyson comes at around 215-218 lbs ...some heavier that Louis.

Peak Louis had a lot of fight to him. Aside from the Schmeling fight, he had some of the best intangibles in the game.

Tyson’s best chance is to throw the kitchen sink at Louis in the first 5 rounds. I think he fails to KO him due to Louis’ defense, countering, and ability to maintain his head ins dog fight.

From there, one becomes a predictable attacker. The other one is a dynamic boxer with elite power and Mayweather-like accuracy. I’ll go with Louis in this dream match.

Typical Tyson Hater response. You asked me what my point was and I straight up gave it to you in the English language of spelling. You can't answer a simple question without throwing a tantrum, lil baby boy_latrine.

I have answered your question and it has been elaborated upon in previous posts, within the thread. Read them.

I'm not about to repeat a case already made just for your benefit.
