Even though this fight never ended up happening because Tyson injured his ribs two weeks out and then ended up going to prison, it did get signed.

This article mentions all of the roadblocks and intense negotiations for the fight, and how it looked like it was dead a couple of times before it was finally signed.

Most interesting part is that essentially it was Tyson who forced the issue and agreed to whatever terms in order to just make the fight happen. I think both Mayweather and Pacquiao need to adopt that same type of attitude here.

Your probally a little mislead, at that point tyson was don kings puppet, it was Don that would jump through hoops for the cash, i actually doubt is tyson even really had a injury.

why would King have had Tyson fake an injury? Everyone lost out on millions from that fight not happening.

If Don King was Pacs promoter it would have been singed already.

They probably where force to cancel the fight, because Tyson spent about 2 hours in the gym and 6 months in the nightclubs, when king came everything changed.
