From ESPN, as he is Chad Dawson's trainer:

I first began to really like Eddie the trainer after the Roy Jones/Thomas Tate bout in the 1990s. Tate takes a devastating leaping left hook to start the second round and goes down. He then struggles to his feet and staggers a bit, and Richard Steele is eyeing whether to allow him to continue.

At that moment, Muhammad flies across the side of the ropes to get to his fighter, so he doesn't get hurt. With all these trainers' egos getting involved and their willingness to allow their man to take too much punishment, it was refreshing to see a trainer truly put his fighter's welfare first.

He's doing some good things out of the ring as well, as mentioned at the bottom of the article.

Eddie did the right thing by stopping Toney-Barkley, over Iran's protests.

As a fighter, Eddie's title-winning performance over Marvin Johnson was a beautiful display of body-punching, mixed in with combos to the head.

He threw that right hand so nonchalant and left himself so open, it's amazing he didn't get hit more when he threw it.
