No sport is better off without their best player in that particular sport. It's like saying golf is better without Tiger Woods boxing is no exception.:deal

 

Floyd needed the time off because of his hands and other injuries he had to take care of. He left boxing because he saw that nobody could beat him, and got bored with the sport. AM and Cotto get knocked out brutally, Pac is facing bums. I would love to see Floyd fight J.M.M. That is a tough fight for Floyd regardless of how you might think J.M.M is too small. J.M.M is THAT good! I would rather see Floyd-Shane first, and Pac-J.M.M III, but if Floyd-J.M.M is made, who wouldn't watch that fight...!!!???

 

Lol, people say floyd is too big for marquez, i'll admit he is bigger than him but its not that serious. The same people then turn around and say floyd should fight Welterweights majority of which come in 160 plus on fight night, but no complaints about them being to big for floyd.

Exactly PBF is a small WW and should be fighting at 140. Most 140 pound fighters weigh more than PBF does on fight night for his fights at 147.:-(

Mayeather-Pac and Mayweather-Mosley would be sick. i still wouldnt mind Mayweather-Cotto but the Plasternator derailed what could have been a good fight and Cotto has to win some big fights for PBF to consider him.

 

If it is Marquez why fault him? A challenge after being off year and half.

Now everyone has to sort of rebuild themselves.

Floyd will take Mosley or Marquez. All other fight possibilities won't happen.

The person I want to see Floyd fight is Paul Williams. If Williams manages to get passed Winky Wright, then he would be a nice threat to anyone and would somewhat solidify his "Most Feared Fighter" title. That would be the toughest fight Floyd will ever come across...

 

Floyd will stop Marquez just as he will stop Pacquiao.

 

What's with fans these days, the old fighters used to jump weight and fight bigger guys all the time. The size difference was even worse before when there were no jr divisions. No fans complain back then, wtf is wrong with fans these days.

 

Agreed on all counts. I would most like Mayweather vs. Mosley. The Mosley that ****ed up Margarito would be hell for anyone. I simply see Floyd putting a beating on Pacquiao and stopping him. Pacquiao has been inflated by beating the skeleton of De La Hoya, but Floyd would bring him back down to reality. Mayweather would also cut Cotto to shreds.
