...So you're literally ignoring the issue?

You've proven to talk about fighters you haven't seen and know nothing about... Why are you in the conversation son?

Which is probably why those guys survived to hear the final bell. IF those big guys did, in fact, open up and fight Tyson, they probably would have gotten starched. Fighting a safety-first fight and trying your best to kill the clock makes a fighter basically a non-combatant. Bonecrusher Smith, with all his size and brawn, basically realized very early that he was way too slow to go to war with Tyson, so he did his best to nullify Tyson's attack. You can't fault Tyson for not getting a guy like that out of there.
And for Bruno -- he had what, one good moment in the entire fight? Tyson dominates him and eventually knocks him out yet Tyson gets blasted because Bruno landed a good shot that stunned him!?

Well, Tyson is going to run through anyone not named Klitschko. He would probably demolish Haye in less 3 rounds, you can't just outrun Mike. Adamek would get the Spinks treatment. Povetkin would get Berbicked. Maybe a big lug like Thompson or Pulev would pull a Green or Smith, and see the final bell in a losing effort.

I believe Tyson would break down the older Vitali we've seen in the past few years in a hard won fight.

Tyson vs Wlad is a fantasy pick em.

Firstly, can we all at least agree that the current version of Vitally Klitschko would not beat Mike Tyson?

Secondly, if this is today’s top heavyweights, then are Stiverne, Wilder, and Fury really among the best that we can bring to the table?

That is truly one of the most bizarre statements I've ever read. That, and this corker that you left hanging in the general forum:

    Yes.

However a prime version of Vitali, beats Tyson easier than Douglas did, and I mean ANY version of Tyson. Too big too strong, too solid chinned, throws far too many punches, and most importantly, no fear of Tyson whatsoever.

I didn't take it out of context. :huh You said Wilder could possibly KO Tyson. It's such a gigantic leap of faith that it's ridiculous, based off what he's done.

A decent read, I find it very hard to project how Mike Tyson in his prime would do with the modern giants. Heres what I'd project in the match ups talked about.

Vs Wladmir Klitschko- This fight would depend on who beats who to the punch. I'm sure Klitschko's strategy would be punch and hold. a prime Tyson would be constantly coming forward at Klitschko likely using his head movement and jab to try to get inside and land some bombs. There are multiple outcomes I could invision but what I think is most likely would be a fight kinda like the Tyson vs Tucker fight just less entertaining with more holding. I think Wladimir would frustrate the hell out of Tyson and win his share of rounds, I also believe Wladimir has the power to hurt Tyson and would at some point causing Tyson to take a rare step backwards. But I feel Tyson would win a close decision by being the aggressor and having Wladimir a little bit scared. It wouldn't surprise me to see Tyson score a knockdown at some point and from that point on Wladimir to be very tentative and to hold excessively causing him to lose at least 1 point. I feel both Tyson and Wladimir are weaker mentally then most great champions and it is possible that either could lose the fight because of this. Both fighters could potentially score KO's but much more likely that Tyson KO's Wlad.

    vs Vitali Klitschko
This fight is very hard for me to picture it would be very interesting to see how there styles matched up. I have to agree though that I feel Vitali could be a terrible match up for Tyson. Vitali has never had any problem with guys who come forward to him. I think he'd be able to use his range well and pepper Tyson who'd just keep coming. I feel Tyson would as the fight goes along get frustrated at being beaten to the punch by the taller opponent and would start swinging for the fences with every punch and Vitali would become even more in command. I think theres a good chance of Tyson shaking up Klitschko at some point in the fight and having a big round but I feel Vitali would be able to whether the storm and take back command. I agree with the writer that it is very possible Klitschko could score a late round stoppage.

    vs David Haye
I feel Haye is about the same class of fighter as Frank Bruno, Carl Williams, Tony Tubbs etc and I don't see his style giving Tyson much trouble. I think Tyson takes Haye out anywhere from the 1-7.

    vs Tyson Fury
I don't think Fury would stand much of a chance with Tyson. Tyson never really in his prime fought someone the size of Fury especially who is a decent fighter like Fury but still Tyson is a far better fighter and it would show. I could see Tyson taking Fury out in the 1st round and wouldn't expect the fight to go any longer then 7.

    vs BermaneStiverne
Another difficult fight to picture in my head but I have little doubt that Tyson would be able to handle Stiverne. I could see Tyson getting an early KO or perhaps Stiverne being able to survive the whole fight but I feel it would be rather one sided.

    vs Deontay Wilder
At this point there is nothing to prove Wilder could handle a prime Mike Tyson or anyone remotely as good as Tyson. Wilder has been untested thus far but one thing about him that has been proven is hes got scary power. Its hard to invision how this fight plays out because we haven't got to see how Wilder does with good opposition. I feel Wilder has great potential he is a decently school'd big man with extreme power and I feel he's only getting better who knows how good he could end up being but at this point there is no reason to even speculate how he would do with a prime Mike Tyson.

Wilder doesn't deserve to be mentioned in this article. His best wins are against a shot-to-hell Audley and a washed-up record padder in Firtha, and Liakhovich who was also shot to hell. His record is ridiculously padded and until he fights some guys with a pulse, he just doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the article. He's totally untested and still a novice.

To a lesser extent, Tyson Fury too. At least he has some names on his ledger, but despite me liking the guy, he has yet to convince that he is ready for a title shot, let alone a beast like Tyson. If he beats Haye then fine...but I'm not convinced he CAN beat Haye.

I feel Pulev and Arreola (not that I think much of either) should have been in the discussion. At least Arreola has fought for the title.

I see both Wlad and Vitali beating him with different approaches.

Vitali would counter Mike all night long and sneak some uppercuts in. Vitali's awkward lean back style would be very difficult for Mike to do anything about and I doubt he would be able to land any head blow that would be a game changer. Vitali TKO 10.

Wlad jabs and holds and occasionally throws Mike around (ala Povetkin). Wlad lands some left hooks and right hands that make Mike try to potshot after several rounds.

    Wlad UD12.

Dino is a hater, and not even a very good one at that.

Vitali will be remembered for sure. KO%, win-loss record, rounds won to rounds loss ratio, and never being floored by a punch, in addition to defending his titles multiple times at an advanced age.

Picking Wladimir to beat a prime Tyson seems kind of ****ed up to me
