The way he dropped Ruddock sounded like a steel refrigerator falling off of a dolly. The entire canvas rattled and Ruddock didn't "drop", it looked and sounded almost like a gun going off. Morrison's hook had so much sheer force behind it. In terms of delivery and power, yeah you could argue he was #1, top 3 bare minimum.

Never understood why he didn't work on defense and his right hand. He had the talent to become an all time great.

I don`t think he could have been an all-time great but the reason he didn`t have good fundamentals is because he never hada decent trainer and didn`t strike me as a smart fighter so probably wouldn`t have listened to a good trainer either.
