Alright fellas I'm going to write a little something about Artie Towne. Been inspired after hearing an old timer talk about his fight in Liverpool in the 50's against Willie Armstrong. I've made a start on some research but it's proving hard to get some reliable information outside of his record and the odd fight report here and there. I'd be grateful if anyone has any information, or any contacts that they could point me to, that may be able to help. Mostly I'm looking for background on the man as well as fight reports etc. Anything at all would be useful though. Thanks in advance
