I don't rate Joe highly, but that was still impressive. Beterbiev handled his business with executioner precision.
Really a shame he isn't 6 or 7 years younger.

Inoue is a sharper puncher but Beterbiev has the heaviest hands in the sport and some of the heaviest I've ever seen. I equate his power to someone swinging a big log at your head - it's going to rattle your brain and completely scramble your senses.

Watch Prieto's reaction after Beterbiev drops him with this beautiful right hand bomb. Look at the expression on his face as he's down on the canvas. He's clearly never felt anything like that before and Prieto is a tough South American who had never been stopped.

And look at him jawing at Artur after it had been waved off. He's a very proud man. He believed he was going to win, wasn't expecting to get taken out let alone in a round, and he still wanted to go after he'd been stopped

Insane power. But can he do that to slick defensive masters like Bivol or Canelo?

Look at that punch at 5:54 and 5:56. He throw that shot from the clinch and it buckled Prieto. The punch at 5:56 was thrown from a few inches away and it rattled his senses.

His power just unreal. It's also hard to defend against because you don't expect that much power from those kind of punches. Boxers are used to getting hit in the cliched, but they don't hurt much so they kinda let their guard down. When Beterbiev lands those short punches, they're shocked that it hurt so much.

Yes, that's the problem - he's an absolute nightmare when he gets inside and he can hurt you badly and finish you from in the clinch

Look at what he did to Cloud who had never been off his feet before. He reputedly broke Cloud's jaw who hasn't been since. I know Cloud was tough because I was a fan of him and I watched him many times

To be able to tear through a teak-tough big puncher like Cloud in such effortless fashion was not only super impressive but it was downright scary and he just did the same to the teak-tough Smith tonight and like I said Prieto is a tough SOB too

Bit hard to guard against his shots. From those videos it was often a shot to the side or top of the head that seems to just take his opponents legs.

In my opinion this was Beterbiev's prime. The way he demolished Cloud was insane.

I think he probably is. Wilder probably has the hardest single shot, but Betervievs power is weird. Literally anything either glove touches gets absolutely destroyed. Doesnt matter the angle, hand, distance or what hes hitting. Anything he hits he hurts and they stay hurt. If its the arm it stays hurt, the head it stays hurt, the body it stays hurt. It's like he lands and the opponent is just ****ed the rest of the fight. It's been a while since I've seen a fighter just destroy anything he touches.

Bull****. Inoue is stopping children and even then he doesn't always stop them. Beterbiev is stopping monsters. You ever seen a guy like Smith or Gvozdyk in real life? They're monsters.
