    20-18 Beterbiev

    We know Beterbiev can be hurt / dropped as seen in the Callum Johnson fight. Yarde is exchanging with Beterbiev which is making for great viewing.

    Beterbiev’s jab is getting through Yarde’s guard easily, who did land a good uppercut during the round.

    I tell you waht, it's one thing edging rounds or out and out winning them but it is something else to make Beterbiev think about what he is doing. Beterbiev was behind his left foot there, he was leaning back and a couple of times he had a chance to come on and didn't take it.

    Yarde is boxing out of his skin, he's 2-0 up to me, I think he is getting the better of it. Early, realy days but better than I could possibly have imagined for the boy.

    Jesus these commentators are woeful.
    In the second Yarde buckled against the ropes and they completely ignored it. Yarde lands an uppercut and “easily the best punch of the fight”

    Busy busy hands from Yarde, you love to see it. I don't know if he can do it for 12 though and as soon as he can't, he loses rounds I bet - Beterbiev jabs his way to the first half of the round I reckon, edging forwards, small increments, Yarde forced to work to keep him off, but he will feel he has a measure of control, decent beltline work, comes forwards with the left, busy with the jab - i think he's edged the second minute but it's a high, high energy style - it's mad, I have Yarde winning 2-1 after three but it still feels like Beterbiev is in control. What a tense, wired fight.
