    He took some shots but look at the amount of times he turned yarde around when he was hit and under some pressure. That's not a hurt fighter, that's a composed fighter.

    I think he should retire but maybe I’m being a bit OTT in the immediate aftermath of a brutal fight.

    He's such a smart boxer Beterbiev, shot selection, movement in and out, knows when to pour on the pressure pure class, the thing I like about him is he's always so calm and and rides the storm and isn't flustered on the back foot.

    Hope Yarde didnt leave too much of himself in the ring in the two wars with Kovalev / Beterbiev. Cause there is more great fights out there for him. But still think his cardio will always be his undoing, just was plain gassed by round 7.

    Yes he is so calm and when in close in amongst the punches flying he knows exactly what he's doing and that comes with talent, good training and having done it hundreds of times.

    I would say he headhunted a bit too much at times in this fight, could of worked Yardes body 2 rounds earlier when he had him in similar positions at the ropes.

    He doesn't seem able to fight going backwards but he's always looking to counter, interesting I thought.

    He is incredibly smart with his shot selection though.
